I used antidepressants for six months in the past, and every antidepressant I took caused constipation. I think the doctor changed my medication five times during those six months. I could only have a bowel movement by using laxatives, so I had to stop taking them. Right now I'm very depressed psychologically and I don't get any enjoyment from life. My question to those experiencing constipation is: if antidepressants caused constipation for you, how did it resolve? Because even after trying multiple medications for six months, my constipation wouldn't go away, and I realized I couldn't continue life without medication.
