Endo doesn't believe me

I need help. I got diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism 3 years ago and have been suffering with HORRIBLE symptoms for 7 years now. My primary doctor tried to treat it for 2 years and we got nowhere - she adjusts the dose, and after 3-4 weeks my symptoms all go away. Every single one. This is what I assume my thyroid levels should be at. Then as more time passes all the symptoms come back. By the 2nd month I am severely symptomatic again. So she adjusts the dose - 3-4 weeks later I feel great - 4 more weeks and symptoms start crawling back.

I've been telling her this for YEARS every 8 weeks and she always says "Your TSH is fine" - so I begged to see an endocrinologist. Finally got in 6 months ago. He was immediately snide and condescending with me saying my labs were normal. I had a severe vitamin D deficiency which he said was the issue, he made me go on a 4 month course of vitamin D saying it would cure everything. 6 months later my vitamin D (iron, ferritin, everything) is normal and I feel the exact same. I knew the issue wasn't my poor vit D because I've had low vit D in the past a few times and it wasn't anything like what I'm experiencing now.

There's obviously a specific level where my thyroid functions normally and all my symptoms go away. But the doctors keep saying my TSH is normal and do nothing. They don't realize my symptoms have genuinely made me suicidal, it's nearing a decade of this. What can I do??

For reference I'm 28F, on Synthroid. my symptoms:

-Weight gain even with a diet & exercise plan from a hospital dietician
-Extreme fatigue (sleeping 16h a day)
-Brain fog
-Muscle weakness
-Freezing cold - I sometimes need to wear my winter hat, mittens, and scarf to bed
-Losing clumps of hair
-Very dry, coarse hair with no shine
-Extremely dull, dry, peeling and cracking skin. No products help
-Developed 4 deep neck lines
-High cholesterol
-Extremely painful period
-Very irregular period, often skips many months. When Synthroid dose is adjusted my period comes on the same day every month and is very light and painless. Now the variation in cycles is 28+ days
-Puffy face
-Almost zero hair growth. Eyebrows don't grow for months, hair on my head also almost completely ceases growth
-Shortness of breath

After my doctor adjusts my dosage and 4-ish weeks pass, ALL these symptoms gradually disappear. Every single one.

Please can someone help on how to get them to believe me. I just want them to test my thyroid during the time my symotoms disappear to figure out those values so we can work on medicating to stay like that. But they don't take me seriously because I'm young. Even when I told them hypothyroidism runs in my family (my mom, aunt, and grandma all have it) they don't seem to care.

Does anyone else have trouble with coding?

Was wondering if coding also falls under dyscalculia. I'm talking Javascript/CSS/etc. I've had trouble with it for as long as I can remember. I've run a Neocities site for almost a decade and every page's code is broken and doesn't function as it should. Despite reading tons of articles, watching 30+ hour guides, using WSS Schools, and lots of other coding help guides, I still haven't gotten the hang of it.

It just makes zero sense to me. I asked on a coding forum how other people learned and almost every comment was "it just clicked/I fiddled with it and found it was fun and relaxing". Coding has brought me to tears endless times. When you look at code it does resemble math and so I was wondering if coding could also fall under the dyscalculia umbrella. The repeated attempts to learn over the past decade and still being at square 1 reminds me of my struggles with math.

Can't inject payload. Completely stumped

A few weeks ago I was able to mod my switch. I got everything set up, injected the payload, and it booted into the modded mode (forget what it's called- Atmosphere?)
Then suddenly it stopped working.

I power off the switch, put the RCM jig in, hold the volume while pressing power, it stays on a black screen. I then plug my switch into my PC and open Tegra. It says RCM device detected. But when I press inject payload, nothing happens!! It doesn't even let me press the button, like it's frozen.

Things I've tried:
•Buying a new cable
•using a different USB port on my PC
•Redownloaded Tegra (this solved the issue ONCE but it went back to the same problem)
•reinstalled Hekate
•Installed the second to latest version of Hekate

Nothing works. I keep asking in the Homebrew discord for help but everyone is stumped. Someone said it could be the cable so I bought 2 new ones today but neither worked. All 3 USB-C to A cables I have are for charging, I've seen people say you specifically need one for data transfer, but at the stores I went to none of the employees knew what I meant and I couldn't find one that said "data transfer" so I bought 2 different ones for charging.

What could the issue be?? I just don't understand since Tegra detects the device fine.

Everyone complains about my scalp smell but derm found nothing

For at least 6 years my scalp has smelled absolutely disgusting. It has this putrid oily smell 24/7, even immediately after getting out of the shower. I have these spots all over my scalp that feel wet/damp where the smell comes from, but zero redness. When you look at my scalp there's nothing there. But when you put your finger on the spots, it feels damp and the smell coats your fingers. My pillows absolutely stink after just 1 day. I also have these crusty white hard seed-like things that itch and are on the wet spots, just 1 on each spot. It itches and i know there's one there, I pluck it off and the itch stops, and my fingers will stink. I went to a dermatologist and explained but after they examined my scalp with their eyes they said nothing was there and just told me to use Nizoral.

I've used countless dandruff and antifungal shampoos over the past 6 years. NOTHING has worked, even temporarily. My parents have stopped giving me hugs because they can't stand the smell and I've been broken up with because of it. For reference I'm 28F, I have chronic illness and am immunocompromised.
I literally have no idea what this is or how to get rid of it. The smell is unbelievable. Does this sound like folliculitis?? The dermatologist said no because there were no red spots but didn't offer an alternative.

I change my pillowcase every single night and towels after every use. I've tried sulfate free shampoo. The only thing that's ever worked is Hibiclens 4% I bought from America which keeps the smell and itch at bay for 2 whole days but it's expensive to import to Canada and doesn't get rid of the root cause

How to save images with links?

Hey guys I'm wondering if anyone has a solution on how to save my images with links. I know it's a horrible idea but for the past 6 years I've been saving all my favourite artwork on a private discord server. The reason I do this is so I can put the photo with the link to the artist's twitter page.

I'm worried the discord might get deleted, but I can't save just the photos on my drive because I would never remember the artists' name. I have about 1300 different artists in my server with different usernames, and the Japanese artists UNs are usually a mix of jumbled letters and numbers. I also like discord because it saves the caption from the artwork. Is there any way to save photos in a similar way to what I'm doing now?
Edit: I'm sure someone will mention Danbooru but more than half the artists say no reuploading and I want to respect that. In the server it's only me, no friends, and I never repost it anywhere online, it's just for me to look at. I've also had artists I followed completely wipe their accounts and delete upon realizing someone else uploaded their work to Danbooru so I want to avoid that.

Years back I used to save just the artwork on my PC but this led to hundreds of images not being able to be sourced anymore, the artists being lost (no results on google image search).

Won't have Effexor for 4 days. Worried

I get my meds mailed and for some reason they're a week late and now there's a long weekend coming up. So no pharmacies or doctors open. I get mental breakdowns from anxiety when I miss even 24 hours. So worried. I can't split the pill either because it's the kind in a plastic shell with powder in it. Is there a way I can make it last 3 days? For reference I'm on 37.5mg

How to make sitting at a desk easier

Does anyone else really struggle sitting upright at a desk for long periods of time? After a while I really struggle to breathe and all the blood pools in my legs. The way my desk is built leaves no room for me to sit with my legs up. Does anyone have any tips on how to sit upright for longer with feet on the floor without feeling absolutely terrible? What really bugs me the most is the shortness of breath

Black screen in RCM mode, can't inject payload

Modded my switch today and it was fine, was able to launch into Atmosphere, but after I put a DBI folder (with nothing in it, just the config and nro files) on the SD card it cannot inject the payload. It boots into RCM (no nintendo logo) and is detected in Tengra but the inject payload button doesn't work. What could be the issue? is it the DBI folder?

Princess Maker 6 AI?

Hello! I'm a big fan of the previous PM games, I've been loosely following PM6 after the announcement and saw there was an update. When I went to look at the store page I noticed many of the backgrounds and UI elements looked AI generated. I didn't see a disclaimer on the Steam page, but when I searched around I saw their team got caught using generative AI backgrounds/assets for another one of their games, which apparently caused huge backlash in the Korean community, and the team swore to never use AI again. Can someone provide more info? I'm trying to look into it more but can't find much, I'm assuming everything is in Korean.

I do find it concerning if this is true. I think as long as they add a disclaimer on the store page it would be okay but as of right now there isn't one. Does anyone have any info on this? :0

How long does it take to check if I qualify for ODSP?

Hello!

I got approved for disability on April 20 after several tries. They said someone would contact me shortly to assess if I qualify for financial benefits. I haven't heard anything yet. Is this normal? I tried phoning them and was on hold for an hour and a half before I hung up because I had to go out. Do I have to do anything or just wait til they contact me?

Approved, how long til they contact me again?

Got approved after an internal review, they said I now meet the criteria for a person with a disability. In the letter they said someone will contact me to assess if I qualify for financial help, that was April 20, it's been over a month with no contact. I tried calling the number on the paper yesterday and was on hold for an hour and 40 minutes and had to hang up. Will they eventually contact me or do I need to follow up?

How do I quit sugar

How do I stop eating sugar. At my worst before weight loss I was eating 150g a day and now it's about 60g. It is so hard to quit and this is coming from someone who quit cigarettes cold turkey. I've tried chewing gum but it doesn't help. I don't eat sugar out of boredom or habit but because my brain craves the dopamine. I have ADHD, and was told by my doctor that a common symptom is overeating and constant snacking because the brain is deprived of dopamine. I have really bad brain fog and eating sugar makes my brain work and be able to do things. I don't get a sugar crash. I have heard some ADHD medications help with the dopamine replacement thing but it didn't work for me. Does anyone have any tips on how they quit eating sugar?
I switched from sugary coffees to iced lattes with no sugar in them which already helped a lot but I am constantly snacking on stuff like cookies, chocolate, etc. I've heard the "don't keep them in the house" rule but when I do that I end up with sugar cravings so bad sometimes I drive to the store in the middle of the night to buy sugary stuff... :(
My eating habits are good besides this, I've lost 40 lbs, but I know it would be way more if I didn't eat so much sugar. Does anyone have suggestions?

Did anyone else get Gastroparesis?

Hi, did anyone else get Gastroparesis from Ozempic?

I started June 2024, it was great, absolutely zero symptoms. I was on 0.5 and lost 35 lbs. But in mid-December of last year, I suddenly got super sick - nonstop vomiting & diarrhea for 5 days straight, I couldn't even stomach a sip of water. I was in the ER for a few days, getting every test imaginable, CT scans, x-rays, ultrasounds, bloodwork, stool/urine tests, parasite tests, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, endoscopy, Celiac test. Everything came back clear. They sent me home, and I proceeded to vomit 8-10 times a day for the next 5 months. I lost 12 lbs the first week of being sick. I was also extremely dizzy, my heart would pound after eating, I had to sleep sitting up or else I would puke, chattering teeth, shaky hands, but the worst was the intense nausea 24/7, every second of the day. And I could not digest food whatsoever. Anything I ate would stay in my stomach for around 48 hours, sometimes more. If it went past 2 days, I would make myself throw up the remaining food stuck in my stomach, which smelled absolutely terrible after sitting in my stomach for so long. I was also puking up dark orange bile every day. After months of getting more tests, the doctors put me on Pantoprazole which stopped the puking. For the first 3 months all I ate was applesauce and plain whole wheat toast. Literally nothing else. My stomach couldn't handle anything, even mild stuff, or things on the BRAT diet like bananas - I'd puke immediately.

Every single doctor and ER doc I've seen concluded it was the Ozempic because it slows food digestion. Now, 5 months later I'm pretty much 100% recovered. I was so sick I genuinely thought I would die, in the first few weeks I barely slept, sometimes only 30 minutes-1 hour per day, due to all the nausea and vomiting. All the doctors and specialists I saw said it's most likely the Ozempic that caused this, but they can't be 100% sure. Did this happen to anyone else?

Please don't share this post btw, I'm not trying to demonize Ozempic or anything. I understand there are risks with every medication and this is probably very rare (same as what the doctors said). Just want to ask if anyone has had the same experience. I'm planning to go back on it eventually because I gained back 10 lbs since stopping, but my doctors say I need to fully recover first.
