So I am four episodes in and decided to take a quick break before finishing the rest. I won't be giving anything away for anybody who has not seen the episodes yet.

• So the animation is ok to me. It really seems like a mix between BTAS & TNBA. Not a bad thing mind you just like the two art styles melded together. It looks the same as last season for the most part and suits the feel of the show.
• Title cards! It would seem the show runners have been listening to the fans as title cards were added this season. Glad they are there, that being said they feel a little too grayscale-ish and need some color IMO.
• I think the villains have been handled well so far so far this season. The Monk episode "The Devil's Due" was my favorite so far.
• I have not finished the season yet but it looks like there will be no two part episodes. I was wrong about this last season as the final two episodes were paired together....hopefully we get that sweet two part episode.
• If you are a hardcore DC fan I am sad to announce that there has been a lack easter eggs this season so far. Was really looking forward to seeing more like last season but they have been few and far between.
• It looks like the gender bending & race swapping have made a return. Unfortunately they STILL serve no purpose to the characters, this was the same problem in the first season. It adds nothing to these stories other then to check a box.
• Papa Midnight makes his return for season 2 in a very small part. This one is fine but strange to me. There are more well known supernatural advisors in the DCU so not really sure why they picked him, just seems like such an odd choice.
• Last point so far is the music for each episode has improved by leaps and bounds from the first season. I noticed it right away as this was my biggest take away last time. That being said it still needs work. The score is still nowhere near Shirley Walker's that helped breath life into BTAS.

Recently my nephew (7yo) has been attached to playing Top Gun 2 on NES. He mentioned to me it would be cool to have a controller like one in a fighter jet and I instantly had flashbacks to the quickshot controllers. The only problem is I remember them being kinda spongy and slightly off when playing. So my questions are these:

What is the most responsive controller in that joystick style for simulated air combat? There has to be a more modern one that works great for the NES, right?

What would be the best game to play with this new controller? Is there a better air combat game for the NES besides Top Gun 2?
