Looking to invest

I have 1200 gold in my account and want to invest, which skins/cases should I buy? I preferably want an investment that's pretty much guaranteed to work and will increase in price very soon because of the gold pass

Poco X8 Pro Max after 30 cycles

(first use was June 30-31st) Very Great Phone, I use it pretty often throughout my day and I never had an issue apart from slight overheating during VERY intensive gaming, but that's reasonable because the ambient temp is 25-30C here.

The times I charged the phone to 100% it would last me for the whole day with 0 problems and would let me continue into the next one.

Cameras are actually pretty good too, the only issue is the ultra-wide which is honestly just useless, aside from that the video, photos and everything else look far more than good enough for daily use.

The performance is never a problem, any game you throw at it, it will eat for breakfast, even the heaviest of games which made my phone use 2500-3000mAh in a constant drain still had the game running at 60 FPS with zero stuttering.

The screen is also very, VERY good and is great for outdoor use, even directly on sunlight. The bezels are absolutely tiny in size compared to the Poco X3 Pro, also, don't be fooled by the 6'83 inch display, it doesn't mean that the phone is taller or bigger in any sort of way, it just simply means that the screen area/space is bigger and when comparing it to my Poco X3 Pro (which is supposedly 6.67 Inches) it's actually shorter, but still has more screen area.

I am on the 12/256GB Blue model, and the color of the phone is actually very good looking, it actually looks like a combination of blue and white which is why it can sometimes appear as white, even though it's blue.

The Storage is plenty of enough along with the 12GB of memory, I could download loads and loads of games/movies before my device fills up the storage and I need to delete stuff, even though that will probably never happen.

The speakers are really great too, they sound extremely nice along with the 400% Volume Boost which works well and doesn't distort the sound at all.

Overall, for the value of this phone it gets a 10/10 for me, but as a regular phone it's a 9/10 and that's simply because of the camera.

Nowhere else will you find a phone for 400€≈ that gives you:

- a 8500mAh Battery which can charge in around 40 minutes.

- a flagship Mediatek Dimensity 9500s processor which can let you play any game at a good framerate with good graphics and works well in daily use.

- a screen as bright AND beautiful as this one

- 12GB of memory along with 256GB of storage.

- Speakers as loud and good sounding as this ones

- a premium build with an IP68 dust and water resistance.

oh, also, bloatware isn't a problem as that's easy to remove, the HyperOS software isn't bad either.

The actual way to remove the 60 FPS cap on Poco/Xiaomi

Use Game Turbo and Turn On Wild Boost!

It's the simplest way, sometimes standoff 2 works at 120 without game turbo soo idk

Good Game for testing your phone!

It's Gorebox if you didn't know, this is on the Poco X8 Pro Max with Maximum Settings and around 30 Neutral Goredolls killed

I regret buying this phone

Turns out I cannot play or even use my phone during my vacation at the sun's core, absolute bullshit.

The Least Skilled Character Is 100% WITHOUT a doubt...

Honored One

Why?

He's the starter character which means he is supposed to be incredibly easily to play.

You can smash your keyboard and your combo will still work, he's supposed to be the easiest character to play.

Gesture swipe delay

I just noticed it and it seems to be done on purpose, does anyone else have this issue? (Video in slow motion for better understanding)

u/helloeverybodymynam — 24 days ago

Gestures being slow?

I just noticed that when I try to exit an app with gestures, there's around a 300ms delay I noticed it when my battery was on 6% and the delay was around a second, is this normal?

Version is Hyper OS 3.0.302.0 and the phone is Poco X8 Pro Max

I think Kirara isn't sigma

She wanted and became an foid which is very unsigma of her, if she were to have been born an foid and then had transitioned into a male it would've been aura!

Same goes for Uraume, why did they want to be reincarnated as an foid? Disgusting

Advice To The People Who Check Third-Party Battery Apps Every Minute

Please STOP!

You bought the phone to enjoy it, not to check if your phone is perfectly fine every minute.

I fell into this trap with my X8 Pro Max and it was bothering me. I could not watch a video or play a game without checking the battery every few minutes or the screen on time because I was worried something would be wrong, so I stopped and I felt way, WAY better than when I worried about the battery too much.

It's like a drug, you get addicted to it and you can't stop doing it because it feels good and without it, you feel empty and want to do it again.

Clash Royale Skin Walker Theory

The Bots you face in matches that have a clan mid battle and then don't when you view their profile are skin walkers, they try to emote like real people especially at the end or at the start as a response to what emote you used, just like real people even though they're a skinwalker.

They take over real people's accounts once they've died and play on it to see how well of a skinwalker they can be, once they're ready they will all emerge and kill us all.

Love The X8 Pro Max!

I would recommend this phone to people who want a very long lasting battery with good specs or gamers for a reasonable price.

if you're interested in where and how I used the phone:

I used the phone mainly indoors but I went outside for around an hour and used it a bit in HBM then on max brightness under shadows, the screen is very bright so I had no problems using it, from the screenshot you can tell what I did most of the time on the phone (I didn't watch any shorts, just long-form content which meant the phone was mostly at 60hz while watching the videos)
