Is this a rebadged car? It looks like a Sealion 7 or a Dongfeng one

glad to see a PH company built from making jeepneys going to the EV industry. It looks promising but how would they handle the service side.

Just wanted to share my honest mistake

I recently upgraded from one battery to two so then I got greedy with charging the two batteries since I have a 12kw solar panel array that I moved up the Charging Amps from 140A to 200A in the Solis config since it will be split by the Master Battery BMS and also I changed the mode from Self use to Off Grid.

Then after a few weeks, after church aroun noon I checked my servers and they were all offline. I arrived home only to find out there was no power. The fault was displaying no battery so I messaged my installer to inform them in advance (They replied the next day LoL).

I then looked at the batteries they were both functioning without faults in their screen. Firstly, I changed it back to Self Use so that while troubleshooting people in the house can use the harvest from the sar panel after that I then unplugged then plugged the RJ45 wire from battery to inverter. Then I turned off the Main DC breaker then turned it on and after hearing a click from the inverter and the fault light turned off. I forgot to consider the heat inside of the metal enclosure even though the breaker is rated for 250A. I then lowered the charging Amps to 160A.

tldr: Too much charging amps dc breaker tripped so I lowered the amps so that it wont happen again.

In Pakistan, open-heart surgery at a public hospital cost ~96,600 PKR ($347 USD). In the US, the same procedure averages $75,000 to $150,000+.

[w] Is the prices here fair or nah? ( ₱61.72 to $1)

I'm planning to slowly setup a NAS and my plan is just to go to the most affordable route of 2 2TB HDD then the rest mix n match of old HDDs I have lying around.

I hope someone here owns a Global Edition BYD

I am planning to buy the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The only thing left requirement for me is the BYD NFC KEY.

Is it worth buying if it's 975USD for 12GB 512GB? I am kinda panicking since the rampocalypse is rising all the prices and since Apple prices went up the rest of the industry would follow.

Does NFC key card work with Xiaomi 17 Pro Max? (I am from PH)

I know the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is China ROM but I was hoping it to work with Global BYD Cars.

Looking for advice somewhat stuck between OnePlus 15 vs Xiaomi 17 Pro Max

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I am kinda torn between the two since they have similar specs but I kinda like the back screen gimmick a little bit more but I'm very open to deinfluencing. I am currently rocking an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

  1. I really like taking random photos and videos in highest quality as possible.
  2. Buy now or wait for the new update (kinda scared of the price increase of RAM to take effect Fuck AI)
  3. I originally plan to treat myself this December but am somewhat panicking after realizing the price surge like apple.
  4. I would love for it to work on Bank apps and BYD Key Card. (I hope someone here uses them)
  5. I tinker a lot so I'm good with China ROM since I'll just use Shizuku and Canta for the ones I don't use.
  6. I kinda want to

Would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations. It can be a different phone as long as the back doesn't look like the vivo X100 where there is a big circle. I am hoping for recommendations with same price range as them.

Planning to buy for GF would love to hear suggestions

Hello everyone,

I am planning to give her a gift and she loves playing fps games so I am not too sure on what mouse to buy and also what sensor or chip to buy so I headed straight here. I am a long time user of G203 or G102 (even though it keeps on double clicking). I bought her a G102 last year but then fastforward 4 months it started double clicking.

I bought her an AttackShark X3 last April but then she said it felt weird and laggy compared to the G102 and she didn't like the unresponsiveness and it started double clicking. I wanted to surprise her for our Monthsary so I would like to ask for your suggestions. Everything is expensive in PH fml. I am planning to buy a ATK Blazing Sky F1 Ultimate V2 and it's around 3k here in Shopee.

Would love to hear suggestions? I heard optical is much better to avoid double clicking.

BTW she is already IMMO 1 in Valorant so it needs to keep up with High Rank lobbies 🙏🏻😭

She likes the G102 shape but is fine with different shape as long as it's not "bulky" as she described it. She likes how light the AttackShark X3 is.

Has anyone tried debloating a Xiaomi 17 Pro Max?

I know it's counterintuitive but like it's the most bang for the buck phone with all it's features in my country.

Have you guys encountered this or know the solution to it?

I tried to charge the car around 3pm with my solar but then after it charged around 10% it stopped and shows this everytime I charge (it was my first time to charge at 3pm I normally charge at 10am). I tried both the portable and the fast charger same result.

my solar specs are 12kw hybrid inverter 12kw solar panel and 16kwh battery

I would like for some input on this plan, did I get an early access?

The story goes like this I have a plan on GFiber and it says on the website the highest plan they have is 2499 for 1Gbps so I applied for it and they then installed the new router in the house.

The problem now is that I then noticed on the app that it says I am paying for 2Gbps but the router specs says that it outputs only upto 1Gbps. I called their customer service and they said it's an error from the app. I went to their branch location near me and they just said that they don't know about it and they'll let the technicians deal with it and scheduled a check up.

What do you guys think? 😭

My experience with a solar installer here in Iligan

(tldr at the bottom)

If anyone here in Iligan is looking for solar energy installers, I just want to share my recent experience. Yours might be completely different, but I’m just voicing out what happened with my setup so people know what to look out for.

I was canvas-shopping and got recommended two local companies. I ended up going with one of them because the owner happens to be a close friend of my college teacher.
Right off the bat, the inspection was a bit weird. They were quick to come over, but it was purely a visual inspection—no load testing at all, which is crazy to me. They just flew a drone over the house and used some maps software to see if the panels would fit. (Spoiler alert: the initial layout they gave me was totally different from the actual finished layout, but whatever, it worked out).

I got the quote a few days later and added more panels since I charge my EV at home. It took me about a month to secure and transfer the cash to pay for the whole setup. During that month, they did a few quick 15-30 minute site visits just to verify things, but mostly we were just chatting.

Fast forward to payment. We expected some waiting time for shipments, which was fine. The installation got pushed back a couple of times due to delays, still fine. But when the actual installation date arrived, the workflow was pretty unprofessional (my mom’s exact word for it). They promised to start at 9 AM but showed up at 10 AM, worked for an hour, and then left for a lunch break. They’d come back around 1 or 2 PM, work for another hour, and sometimes just call it a day. Some afternoons they wouldn't even show up at all.

The pacing was incredibly slow—it took them up to two weeks just to get a 12kW hybrid system online. Now, in their defense, part of the reason it dragged on past a week was an issue with the inverter. The unit they reserved for me wasn't secured the moment it arrived at the supplier. According to them, their truck broke down so they couldn't pick it up right away, and because of the delay, other buyers stepped in and bought it first, which set everything back.

But even aside from the inventory issue, they were juggling three different jobs in different locations at the same time. They would show up at our house, realize they forgot their tools, and then sit around waiting for their team to deliver them from another job site or their HQ. One time, they didn't do any work because they claimed they didn't have an extension wire—only to find out they had just left it on the side of our house the previous day. It was also strange seeing them buy new equipment left and right; it took them four separate drill bits and two whole days just to drill two holes in our wall.

For the final wiring through the moulding, they actually outsourced the job to graduating electrical students they scouted from a Facebook post. They were also super slow to reply. It took them two days just to wire the breakers, the battery, and the inverter. The main reason for the delay was incomplete tools and the guys having internal conflicts over who had what equipment on site.

Finally, the system went online. I was excited to jump in and see the data, but I was massively disappointed to find out they only give clients guest accounts "due to their protocol." I argued that since I paid for the entire thing in cash, I want full control over my own hardware. I don't want a read-only guest account where I can't tweak any settings.

I don't know if they think I'll break it, but I’m an engineering grad, a certified electrician, and I run my own local home servers. I have more than enough common sense to know what to tweak and what to leave alone. I just hate being locked out of equipment I own.

Just putting this out there for anyone weighing their options in the area. Make sure to clarify working hours, tool readiness, and admin account access before signing anything.

Edit: If there are also people planning to get solar and have Net Metering, this is what I got from asking around in ILPI and from the installer. It would take 2 YEARS as far as they know. It would also cost around 30K for all the applying and fees. My opinion would be the cost would get much higher since it's the "trend" but it may not who knows. The process goes like this City Engr's then ILPI then to Manila then after that back to ILPI then they would change your meter.

tl;dr: Two-week installation for a hybrid system because the team was juggling three jobs at once, constantly forgot their tools, and outsourced the final wiring to FB hires. To top it off, they only give out read-only guest accounts for the monitoring app, even if you paid full cash. Applying for net metering here takes 2 years and 30K

Will my warranty get voided? I just want to own my setup

My installer won't give me admin access and only guest access. I just got my Solis hybrid inverter installed. I wanted to use admin account because I want to own the product I bought and I am planning to use Home Assistant alongside it so that I can smartify the heavy loads in my system. The reason he told me because if he give me the account it will void the warranty of Solis. (side note: I paid it cash idk if that helps my case)

Would love to hear your opinions.
