What is actually the hard part of learning the oboe?

I'm constantly thinking what instrument I should learn first (oboe, organ, viola or cello), and I need to know what is the hardest part of learning the oboe.

Is it the embochure? Fingering? Breath control? Scraping the reeds?Maybe something else?

For me as a language freak, learning the embouchure would be like learning a weird consonant, and as someone who loves singing breath control also seems doable, but my perspective may be twisted due to having no experience with reeds.

And yeah, I know the most important thing is finding a teacher.

Note: I don't want to play in the orchestra, I just really like oboe's timbre, as it doesn't sound nasal and hoarse like the clarinet + it doesn't transpose.

Why is learning organ so gatekeeped?

First of all, most organ courses are either for children, a DLC for pianists or extremely expensive

Then, finding an instrument to practice is also hard. In church you would need a permission from the main priest, but even then you may disturb praying people or risk complaints from old people for playing secular music. Concert halls often only allow profesionalists and music schools only allow their students to play

Why is this instrument so gatekeeped??

Why is bass oboe so unpopular compared to cor anglais?

I mean, it's not as unpopular as Heckelphone or Lupophone, but I'm curious why it doesn't have the recognition it deserves?

Using ¾ violin as a soprano violin

After learning about the existence of the violin octet (where the "normal" violin is the mezzo violin), I got curious: would it be possible to tune a ¾ violin a fourth above a normal mezzo violin?

If yes, should I use normal full size strings and just wind them a little more, or should I use dedicated ¾ strings?

I would mostly use it for additional harmonics for cello (similarly to how organ stops work: 8' cello, 4' viola, 2⅔' violin and 2' soprano violin), as it would use the same fingering, and be more resonant for the higher notes.

Is it a good idea?

Sistemas educativos extranjeros vs mercado laboral español

Gracias 😄

Why are fifths tuning strings so difficult to find?

I'm trying to look online for strings for fifths tuning (C1, G1, D2 and A2), but I'm only able to find G1 and D2 strings

Why aren't there any C1 and A2 strings?

Cheap smartphone vs /e/OS and Sailfish compatibility

So, I'm looking for new phone, as my current one is breathing its last breath, and I have a dilemma:

On one hand, I would really like a phone with /e/OS or Sailfish OS compatibility or even with it being preinstalled.

On the other hand I don't have a big budget for a phone (and Murenas and most of the fully compatible phones are relatively expensive) + I don't want to void the warranty in case something stops working

I don't know what to do

Does blowing air on radiadors help them dissipate heat?

So, I'm trying to design a cooling segment (with Plantetary Base mod + a mod I don't remember that reworks radiators and adds cooling loops), and I'm wondering whether blowing air (or whatever atmosphere the planet/moon has) with fans actually helps with cooling, or is purely aesthetic
