Maybe I’m tweaking but I feel like yall are overhating on Christian

Yes hes a bad partner to Dani aint nobody denying that, even hes aware of it. He wants to stop dating her and its clear he hasnt enjoyed their relationship for a long time (which is what leads to him being so distant and shitty of a partner) but he feels trapped and like he can’t dump her. He just seems like a guy who has pretty valid feelings which leads to him hurting the people around him due to his fear.

Is a +6 weapon over leveled for Godrick?

Im replaying elden ring for the first time in 2 years (this is my second time ever playing it) and Ive been making an effort to explore more this time. This has led to me having a +6 weapon and being level 31 (I tend to buy items instead of leveling). When I fought Godrick he seemed too easy, I beat him first try even after swapping to an un-upgraded weapon halfway through second phase.

This is a topic I don’t see people touch on often so I figured I’d ask. For context I am white and have noticed that in my writing whenever I write a character without a specific race in mind I default to thinking of them as white. This leads to me needing to actually consciously think “I want this character to be black/asian/hispanic/etc” whenever I want to write a character who isn’t white. Was just wondering if there was a way to get myself to stop thinking of characters defaultly as white so I can have my characters be naturally diverse.

I can understand where the idea of it being a love story can come from, the dreamer is in love with the other main character after all and the story details their relationship. To me though this book felt like an exploration of two very lonely people and what their loneliness does to them, not a love story as they never truly loved each other, just wanted to be free of loneliness. This is granted my first and so far only Dostoevsky book I’ve read so maybe this is just me being unfamiliar with his style.
