first few days of trying the arata mitoactive, here are my thoughts

A lot of you subscribed to last post I made  and also here. I got tons of messages asking to share updates here.

So here are 3-4 days of experience with the product. I haven't noticed any difference so far, but that is to expected since arata themselves claim it takes a while to show results. It causes a slight tingle on the scalp for me, so I suppose that's something. I am applying it every day in the evening for now so I can let my scalp get used to it I suppose.

Let me know if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer. I was questioning myself posting a picture of my scalp here but we'll see. I haven't ever done that so I feel paranoid.

The image here should serve as a baseline.

M26 first few days of using arata mitoactive.

How long after your minoxidil gains started showing?

u/iamnobody331 — 1 day ago

Since nobody else agreed to review this (mitoactive thingy) for long term, might as well be me

Context: I have been using min and fin for a while now but unfortunately it has not proven to be effective for me, (i am assuming i am one of those whom minoxidil has no effect on) and now I have lost so many hair my scalp is visible now. I have been seeking reviews for arata mitoactive but since it is new there are no reviews, so I thought "fine... I'll do it myself".

What's more is that the active ingredient for this (y100) has been on the market for quite some time but couldn't find reviews for that either. Apparently it has had clinical trials and has shown efficacy as far as I know.

Arata launched this recently I guess. I have used their curl cream previously and it has worked well for me and my sisters using the arata products haven't had any complaints so I'm gonna assume they know better about hair care than me (they do) and trust their judgement.

I'll be using using the prod and report here.

I thought might as well add the study of the ingredient or method, a fellow redditor found this : https:// pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC13448373/

Edit: the link and the study provided by: u/Electronic_Bar5037

M26 Some of you might disagree but I'm gonna give this one a try

Context: I have been using Minoxidil and finesteride for a while now and have seen no progress. This monsoon i have lost so many hair my scalp is visible now. I have been seeking reviews for arata mitoactive but since it is new there are no reviews, so I thought "fine... I'll do it myself".

M26, minoxidil unfortunately doesn't work for me.... where do i go from here?

So i have been experiencing alopecia for a while now, while there are still some left on my head, i don't think they'll stay there for long. I tried minoxidil for years, it did absolutely nothing for me, i also tried it with finesteride and it caused done other side effects.

Is there no hope except for transplant?

Can you please help me upgrade my routine and my starter setup?

I have recently started earning good amounts of money (touchwood) and I kind of have been waiting for some money on my end to actually start taking care of myself. With that said, I am finally putting together a basic daily setup for the office/evenings and introducing some order to my chaos:

  • Watch: Casio G-shock dw5600 - Keeping it simple, functional and durable, also an EDC. I am planning on getting a nicer seiko automatic
  • Skincare: Minimalist Salicylic Acid, adapalene, spf 50 sunscreen from dot&key - Finally taking my skin seriously.
  • Scent: fikn Fame Elixir - Got this in my beginner haul. Surprisingly solid, dark evening scent. Way better than generic deodorants, as well as zara blue temptation, I have some cheapies as well
  • Hair: Please suggest, I have curly hair which I am loosing fast lol
  • I basically have very little fashion sense and knowledge and I would appreciate some advice on general casual office attire, I don't trust ai with that sort of thing, please suggest a starting point.

It’s basic, but it’s a start. What else am I missing for a proper 20-something grooming routine?
Any tips before I start putting everything together?

Update: The last two bottles of my beginner haul arrived. Pausing the spend for now 📦

Hey guys, following up on my post from last week. The last two bottles of my beginner haul finally got delivered.

Still trying to figure out what kind of scent profiles I actually like, so I tested these out over the weekend. Here are my very subjective noob first impressions:

1. Zara Blue Temptation I wanted at least one safe, fresh "blue" scent. It’s on the pricier side for a beginner budget, but it smells really good, very clean, kind of a shower gel/citrus vibe, I feel like I have taken a bath just smelling this lol. It’s impossible to offend anyone with this, and the performance is actually pretty solid on my skin. I'm going to cycle it with others in my collection for various purposes and see what fits where.

I remember a time where people used to fight over this brand now has seemed to slip into a bit of irrelevance. I just don't hear about it often anymore

2. Fikin 'Thrill' Elixir Their' bottle from my last post was decent, I took a blind gamble on this one too. Honestly, the opening is a bit spicy and fruity/sweet. It takes about 15-20 minutes to calm down into a dark, smoky scent.

Word of warning: do not wear this in the daytime heat. I wore it out in the sun and humidity it was a bit unpleasant to say the least. But I wore it again at night in the AC and it’s actually a really solid, rich scent. Longevity is decent, getting me about 4-5 hours on clothes before it fades. The bottle is nice though.

I'll be stopping the spend for now and see how these perform, any tips?

Just Started making adult money, friend's engagement is soon, need guidance and recommendations

As the post says, I am completely new to this whole fragrance thing. I'm the kind of guy that grabs whatever deo is reasonable priced spray it all over and call it a day.

This is a niche that I have been wanting to get on along with watches.

Now here's the thing: My nose has been terrible since covid

I have seen my friends doing some devil may cry shit with perfumes doing all the fancy moves while applying the perfume ("it has to be 5 inches away and sprayed in a certain way" wtf?)

The other thing I've been wondering is should I start building a collection of multiple perfumes priced at around ₹1500 to ₹2500 or buy a really good one for like ₹10,000

To me multiple perfumes seems more reasonable since it gets me into the hobby while educating me.

Yes I have already seen the rules and read the basics, I am here for advice before putting money down. Absolutely insane people on this sub you guys need a life but I am glad you don't lmao /s

(Mods if my post violates rules please lmk and cut me some slack, I want to avoid spamming too)

I am new to Anno, how do I start?

I got the Anno 1800 definitive anniversary edition (it was 50% off on steam) while I'm not entirely new to this genre, I am new to anno. I have only played cities skylines before

I have all the dlc and expansion packs. When i started the game it told me to hunt fishes instead of building something?

Immediately started scratching my head because this is not the game i want to play, i want to build. Did i do something wrong? Do i disable done expansions? How do i avoid combat and fishing ?

New to PC gaming, this is how RE9 runs on my laptops, please help

POST UPDATED ISSUE RESOLVED I think it had to do with windows being finicky, I had to reinstall full windows and then debloat it, and reinstall all drivers.

Re9 is running well at 60fps ray tracing off and many of the settings at ultra. Fucking unbelievable

Specs:

Ryzen 7 7435HS

24GB DDR5 4800MT/S RAM

RTX 4060

512GB SSD

Settings:

All settings are medium to high with ray tracing set to normal

DLSS 2X Frame gen on, DLSS upscaling set to performance

Running at 1080P frames capped at 30FPS for consistent performance

I'm barely getting 15 fps in leon section even with ray tracing off and running game at 720P

All drivers and everything's up to date

Help me avoid scam in Solar installation for home

Hello everyone,

I wanted to install Solar at home but the vendors are just in mood to scam us. They keep insisting on on-grid however I want hybrid, something that works in reduction of electricity cost and works when there's no power (there are frequent power cuts in my area)

What I want to know is do I even need to rely on vendor to install solar at home or can I just order good brand solar panels from somewhere and get them installed.

I want hybrid (even though the initial cost is higher), are there any downsides to this?

What company/brand solar and inverter should I buy?

If you know a reliable source who does solar work can you let me know? (I can disclose City in DM)

Just noticed a spoof in Season 02 Episode 09

He's supposed to be outside but video call shows curtains inside the room. Thought it was funny and worth sharing not sure if a lot of people noticed
