This makes everything so much harder

I’ve been realizing how much alexithymia affects literally everything in my life, and honestly it makes mental health struggles feel exponentially harder.
Not being able to properly identify or explain what I’m feeling makes it so hard to ask for help. Professionals ask “how does that make you feel?” and my brain just goes blankkk, static. Even when I clearly know something is wrong.

It’s frustrating cause most advice about mental health depends on being emotionally aware in the first place.

Has anyone here actually gotten better at managing it? Are there specific things that genuinely helped you become more emotionally aware or communicate better?

How do you build an original taste?

I have realized I have a hard time forming my own opinions on music. If I read reviews or comments before listening to a song…I end up getting influenced by what other people think, even when I try not to.
The weird part is I don’t even fully know what genres I genuinely like yet. I want to explore music and develop my own taste naturally, but online and friends opinions kind of get in my head and make me secondguess what I actually enjoy.
I think this mainly rooted from having a childhood friend who was opinionated and always listened to more music than me… so i sort of felt inferior.
Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you start building your own taste in music without relying too much on reviews, rankings, or other people’s opinions? How should i go about exploring music? TIA

Need recs for a cafe to work/study

Most of the cafes are crowded ilana people just go there to eat and its kinda awkward to stay there when you finish up eating.
Do yall have recs for a cafe where they dont bother you and let you stay for 4-6 hours possibly with a electric port and good WiFi?

What is the basic cost of living in goa?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been thinking about moving to Goa for a calm and a peaceful life, slow living type, just a simple life, peaceful environment, decent internet, basic comforts, and enough to get by without constantly stressing about money.

For someone living alone, what would be the realistic minimum monthly cost of living in Goa right now?

I have some more doubts regarding:

Which areas are better for a quiet life and not too crowded?

Is it possible to manage with local jobs, or is a remote job necessary?

What kind of work opportunities are commonly available there?

Would love honest opinions from people actually living there long-term.
Please and thank you :)
