URGENT - STOP DELIVERY OF AFFECTED VEHICLES: MAZDA SALES AND SERVICE TEAMS - ACTION ITEM:

Between both campaigns, there are approximately 27,565 vehicles (for both campaigns) in stock at U.S.Mazda dealers. All Mazda dealers must quarantine any affected New, Used or Certified Pre-Owned in-stockvehicles until the repair is completed. The affected dealer inventory list will be available to each District Service Manager with the notification of this dealer email. Once completed, the vehicle can be delivered, and the warranty claim can be submitted later without penalty since the vehicle has been repaired. Mazda Motor Corporation has decided to conduct two service programs Special Service Program (SSP) and the Manufacturer Service Program (MSP) on certain 2026MY CX -5 vehicles sold in the U.S. and U.S. Territories. Vehicles also produced by Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM) and Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) are affected and should be repaired if presented to your dealership. Please see the description, model, model year, and VIN ranges below for all vehicles in these two campaigns. There are 70,225 vehicles affected by SSPE2 and 53,653 vehicles affected by MSP67. All vehicles in MSP67 are also affected by campaign SSPE2. Please read this complete letter for all the repair information.

Special Service Program SSPE2 – Ethernet Communication and OTA Update Concerns - SSPE2 addresses two concerns:1) Ethernet communication (CDC -DCM communication) concern:

Communication in the Cockpit Domain Controller (CDC) and Data Communication Module(DCM), may be interrupted, making the connected services unavailable. The interruption may cause the master warning light to illuminate and an audible warning from the emergency call speaker.2)

OTA software update concern:

Due to an improper communication control program in the CDC and DCM, OTA software updates may not be completed. In addition, if an OTA software update is successfully completed, the vehicle's software configuration status may not be correctly transmitted to the server, which may prevent notification of subsequent software updates successfully completed. OTA software updates may not properly sync with Mazda’s servers, potentially preventing future OTA updates.

Repair Outline: Reprogram the DCM and CDC software, using a USB memory stick with modified software.

Manufacturer Service Program MSP67 - Battery Depletion Concern - MSP67 addresses two concerns:

On certain subject CX-5 vehicles, the vehicle may fail to start due to battery depletion after IG OFF.1) Data Communication Module (DCM):

Remote Diagnostics software may reset and fail to close a CAN communication channel after ignition OFF, and the battery may drain over time.

Note: Vehicles for Puerto Rico and Mexico markets are not affected by this factor as they are not equipped with the DCM.2)

Body Control Module (BCM):The Body Control Module (BCM) may intermittently reset during sleep mode operation.

Vehicles may cycle between wake-up and sleep states, leading to battery depletion. Repair Outline: Reprogram the BCM software with M-MDS, using Mazda Diagnostic and Repair Software II (MDARS II). The DCM software is being reprogrammed by SSPE2.Note: When the BCM is reprogrammed, the Central Gateway (CGW) will also be updated automatically.

I bought the game yesterday and played for an hour. I got through most of the first map, but could not defeat the flying bug creature. I found the rope down to this hidden base. I was then given a choice of a 'class' which jumped me to level 6. After that, I went to the portal, but it only took me back to the same map with no other choices.

Is my game glitched, or did I miss picking something up?

There is a locked door I need a key for, and I did not find that anywhere on the map. I did get the mirror piece near the flying bug by luring it away.

Any help would be appreciated; I just feel a little lost.

Update I found the issue was the graphic labels at the top of the screen were not showing up for me. I changed some graphics settings and they were there.

Got a light misting rain today, so I wanted to check my coating. What do people think?

When detailing my car, I was confused about how to clean the windows and wipers since you could not pick them up without them hitting the bottom of the hood like other cars.

Lo and behold. Wiper Maintenance Mode. Thought I would share.

Activating Service Mode

• Turn ignition ON/OFF: Switch the car's power on, then turn it completely off.
• Push the stalk UP: Within 30 seconds of turning the car off, push the wiper control stalk up to the "mist" or single-wipe position twice.
• Lift the arms: The wipers will move up into a vertical position on the glass. You can now lift them safely away from the hood to clean or replace them.

Returning Wipers to Normal

• Turn ignition ON: Start your vehicle or turn the power back on.
• Push the stalk UP: Give the wiper stalk one more quick upward push, and the blades will slide back down to their resting position beneath the hood.

I have been on 100 mg allopurinol for over 10 years. While on it, my Uric Acid has been between 7.2 and 7.8. I usually have one flare a year. I read recently that the target for Urate should be lower than 6. (My lab says 3.9 to 9 is OK (9.1 would be high).

Should I push my doctor for a higher dose of Allopurinol?

Interesting read from Carbuzz. It looks like they have a different opinion than many on this sub.

Great to see the 2026 CX-5 get the top safety rating. One of the reasons I bought the car was I expected this to be the outcome.

I have never had many friends, but I am currently going through a lot of emotions. How do you all cope with these things?

I don't feel comfortable going into specifics, so I am just looking for advice on how to cope.
