White floral reccomendations

Looking for Middle eastern perfumes inspired by white florals I love

I’m trying to explore Middle Eastern fragrances and would love recommendations based on the actual smell/profile, rather than simply perfumes that happen to list jasmine/tuberose as a note.

These are some designer/niche white-floral fragrances I’ve tried and genuinely liked:

* ❤️ Amou* — Honour Woman — loved the elegant white-floral character
* ❤️ D* — Jasmin des Anges — smelled surprisingly similar to my Juhi jasmine attar; loved this particular jasmine character
* ❤️ Dip* — Do Son EDP — loved the tuberose
* ❤️ Amou* — Love Tuberose — liked the creamy tuberose, although I preferred Honour
* ❤️ Cha* — Gardenia — loved it

❤️ Cha* — Beige — loved the soft, elegant floral character

I’m particularly interested in Middle Eastern perfumes that give a elegant/realistic/lush/creamy white-floral effect, rather than generic “white floral” perfumes.

A thorough map for exploring perfume taste

So I am visiting Mall of Asia in Bengaluru , and considering it's got a pretty wide variety of stores where I can test perfumes I thought I would make a complete exploration graph which will allow me to thoroughly understand what I like . I used chatgpt to make it and thought to share here as well, as it might be useful for other as well . I am well aware it's impossible to test all of these in a day , that would take several visits.

ETA: Would be great if you guys can give suggestions for more categories or fundamental fragrances in the existing categories that someone building their perfume tastes should explore

Looking for a fluffy, elegant vanilla (not a caramel bomb) – Middle Eastern recommendations?

Hi everyone! 😊

I’m trying to figure out what type of vanilla I actually like before buying another bottle, so I’d love recommendations from people who’ve tried a lot of Middle Eastern fragrances in the Indian climate.
After sampling different perfumes, I think this is what I’m looking for:
🤍 Fluffy, airy vanilla
🍦 Creamy and smooth
✨ Feminine and elegant/“rich woman” vibes
🌸 Soft musks and white florals are welcome
🥥 I enjoy creamy coconut if it isn’t sunscreen-like
💪 Good longevity and projection in Indian weather

What I don’t want:
Very smoky or incense-heavy
Leather-forward
Extremely spicy
A dense caramel/toffee/syrupy gourmand that smells like a bakery
The vibe I’m chasing is more like expensive cashmere, luxury lotion, whipped vanilla cream, or a soft elegant vanilla rather than dessert.

These are the perfumes currently on my shortlist:
Khadlaj Sawaar Vanille Blanc
Khadlaj Cream Velvet
Khadlaj Empire Victor
Fragrance World Crème of Clouds
Lattafa Eclaire
Lattafa Angham
Lattafa Musamam White Intense (I know this isn’t a vanilla perfume, but I like the luxury vibe people describe)
For those who have tried these, which one best matches what I’m looking for? Also, are there any other Middle Eastern vanilla fragrances that fit this profile better?
Thanks!

Recommendations for breezy florals

So I just got the Nykaa forbidden garden body mist , and I love it. It smells like the scent of garlands wafting in the air( because jasmine and magnolia). But of course since it’s a body mist I can’t expect stellar performance.

Does anyone have suggestions for scents with similar profile preferable with the same notes of jasmine and magnolia or any layering combos with which I can create the same effect.
I do have jasmine attar and can maybe get the a magnolia attar as well. Budget is under 2k.

TIA

Increasing attar projection

For the people who use attars how do you increase the projection . AFAIK attars are supposed to be strong but they are more for a close scent bubble, I could be wrong though.

I was planning to get some floral attars and was thinking I could layer with a basic perfume over it which would help increase the projection.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the same.

TIA

Flash flood risk

I have been house hunting for rent I was looking around the Kasavanahalli area , is it wise to rent home near Kasavanahalli main road in term of water logging. Does anyone know if this area was affected during the flash floods or is prone to water logging during heavy rains.

Handling career with new born

Asking women who have recently become mothers and those who plan to in the nest 2-3 years, especially those who are in the software engineering field. How do you handle work stress along with a new born kid especially given the climate in tech these days where the tech is moving so fast that taking a career break is akin to career suicide and the imminent threat of layoff is always hanging over you , and I am pretty sure that would be more severe for a new mother. The rise of AI is making everyone so disposable and even with laws in place I don't think companies, especially now, would want a less productive person in place. How do you handle sleeplessnes along with work.

I know its not my job alone and my husband would be equally responsible but he wouldn't be going through the mental and physical changes that would make it tougher for me. I get stressed when I have to handle 4 different things at work , I can't imagine working along with a baby crying in the crib. We would hire a help and probably our family would help too but there's only so much they can do.

I am mostly worried about how to handle career with a new born.

I am planning to have a kid 2-3 years in the future and I am kinda getting stressed about all this stuff. Am I overthinking? I want to know how has the experience been for others and how they managed and for those who are planning how do they plan to manage.
