Packing for trial to finally face the accused and hold him accountable years later.

What an eerie feeling on a Monday morning.

Ontario.

Someone explain to me why the f#%^ justice is so expensive.

I am travelling 4 hours away to finally face my abuser in court. (That's where court is held. Can't do anything about it).

The government covers a portion of my hotel, free breakfast, 7$ for lunch* and 11$ for dinner.

I am OUT OF POCKET for anything over that.

I'm so friggen angry. I'm beyond retraumatized.

I didn't realize justice costs the victim this much

Would any of you kind gracious people from the 'land down under' drop ANY type of photos in Australia?

Bugs, spiders, beaches, sun rises. Literally anything to do with Australia.

She would be ever so grateful.

14 days. I have 14 days before I face my historic SA abuser in court during trial. He's facing 35 different charges. We are going to superior court of justice in Ontario. I finished court prep. Yes I am in contact with VWAP but I wanted real responses not robotic answers they're trained to say to victims kinda thing. Hope this is okay.

What am I expecting during the trial?

What is it like to be cross examined?

Am I allowed to take breaks if I need?

How long does it take to get a judgement?

What does a day during trial look like?

Will I be judged for being emotional?
