I want to feel inspired and adventurous

Haven't watched a movie in a while, last thing i watched on television was "The last of us", trash season 2 btw. But watching Joel always left me in awe, it was very adventurous.
Can you guys recommend some movie or series that's a great watch has a great story & doesn't have lousy drama?

This habit tracker gives you a Consistency Score on top of streaks and it genuinely changes how you see your progress

Been on the hunt for a habit tracker that doesn't feel like a chore to use. Tried a bunch and most of them are either too complex or too bare bones.

Founded one called Freaks recently and it's been the one that's actually stuck for me. Here's why.

Most apps give you streaks and that's it. Freaks does streaks too, but it adds something on top called a Consistency Score. It's basically one number that reflects how you're doing across all your habits over time. Really satisfying to watch it climb and it gives you a much bigger picture than any single streak can.

The other thing that's genuinely cool is the Consistency Blob. It's an organic shape that grows and changes based on your habits. Sounds a bit odd on paper but in practice it makes your progress feel alive in a way that a number alone doesn't. It's one of those things you have to see to get.

Other stuff I like:

  • Calendar Days - you can write notes directly to your calendar days. So it's not just tracking whether you did something, you can log what helped, what got in the way, little reflections. Makes it feel more like a journal than just a checkbox list.
  • Minimal design - nothing feels bloated. It's clean and actually enjoyable to open.
  • Data ownership - your data stays yours. Didn't think I'd care about this until I did.

It's on iOS and Android. Still has some features in the works (habit cards are coming) so it's actively being built out which I like to see.

If you're into clean design and want something that shows you the bigger picture of your consistency rather than just individual streaks, give it a look.

Curious what habit trackers people here are using and what made you stick with them?

Successful businesses, can you share your journey? (I will not promote)

Successful business owners, would you be willing to share your journey?

I'd love to learn more about:

• Who you are
• What business you're in (don’t promote or write your business name and any url associated to it)
• How and why you started
• The biggest challenges you faced along the way
• Key lessons you learned
• How your business is doing today

Starting a business has always fascinated me, but it can also feel overwhelming. Hearing real stories from people who've built something from the ground up would be incredibly valuable and inspiring.

Looking forward to reading your experiences!

Freaks: For your Consistency

Hey r/droidappshowcase

I’ve been working on an app called Freaks

Freaks is built around tracking habits, maintaining streaks, logging progress, and seeing your overall consistency improve over time. There’s also a calendar where you can write small entries, a notes section for anything personal, local backup/restore and a consistency score that grows as you keep showing up.

What I like most about it is that it doesn’t try to be a giant life operating system. It’s more like a clean place to track the few habits you genuinely care about and slowly build proof that you’re becoming more consistent.

It’s especially useful if you’re trying to stay consistent with things like gym, studying, coding, writing, reading, meditation, or any personal routine.

I’d love honest feedback from people here, especially around what feels useful, what feels unnecessary, and what you’d want from a habit/productivity app.

Happy to answer any questions or hear feature requests.

I designed Freaks, its a consistency app

This is my best work so far.

I started making an app that focuses on consistency along with streaks. So you won't feel punished when you miss for a day.

Great experience with u/teekamsuthar

I worked with u/teekamsuthar for closed testing of my app.

Would Definitely recommend Teekam for your app's closed testing, he was helpful at every step of process.

Go ahead for smoother production access on play store.

Best Albums to listen to. Any Genre.

Hey, I listen to lot of music and would love some music recommendations.

My fav albums are: beerbongs & bentleys and viva la vida: prospekt's march edition.
Every song in these is good for me.

I don't care how many hits an album has, it should sound good from top to bottom.

What's your go to app for staying consistent that's actually free?

I tried many apps to track habits and stay consistent, but I kept running into the same problems, either great features behind a paywall or a free app with a poor UI.

I don't want to pay just to stay consistent.

Recently, I found Freaks. It lets you track habits, keep a calendar and best part is, you can write rich Medium style personal notes all in one app.

Curious what everyone else is using.

I built Freaks, I’m struggling with distribution/marketing, and I’d love advice from people who’ve done it.

Hey fellas,

I'm a solo dev, I spent most of my time building/designing the app, but now I’ve hit the part I honestly know the least about: marketing and distribution!!!

Things I’m currently struggling with:

  • Getting initial users organically
  • Figuring out what content works on social media
  • Improving App Store conversion
  • Standing out in a crowded productivity space

I’d genuinely love feedback from people who’ve launched apps before.

Specifically:

  • What would you improve first from these screenshots?
  • Does the branding/message make sense?
  • What kind of content would you post for an app like this?
  • If you had $0 for marketing, what would you focus on?

I’m open to brutal honesty.

How to successfully launch on product hunt?

I am planning to launch soon and want to know if there’s a checklist and essentials before the launch.
