Highlights from the meeting:

Monty Python is a main source of inspiration to his works.

He's a big Hong Kong movie fan and his favourites are Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Michael Hui, Tsui Hark and so much more... He actually has a long list of his favourite Hong Kong films, movie stars and filmmakers.

He is planning to draw a Hong Kong based manga. He is now collecting ideas, there's a link that you can email him some Hong Kong spooky stories.

He doesn't have any assistants because he likes to draw his own manga personally and he wants to save some money.

Tatsuki Fujimoto & Shintaro Kago collaboration, there was a lucky draw event in the meeting. The winners could ask him to draw anything they wanted, one of them asked him to draw a Fire Punch themed drawing (see the second to last pic) but Kago was really confused about it, he probably isn't a fan of Tatsuki Fujimoto.

Exclusive Merch: there's a Hong Kong exclusive manga (see the last pic). According to the host, the book design is based on some classic 80s Hong Kong comic books, but it seems like it doesn't contain any new stories, it is just a collection of reprinted stuff.

Some anecdotes:

During his trip to Thailand, some one gave him a photobook of Thais corpses and he was happy with that.

A fair amount of the participants were from Mainland China, I was surprised to find out that he has so many fans in China.

I think most of us agree that darksied is much stronger than Thanos, than how about Mongul, who's pretty much a mini darksied?
