Hi there! I hope this is the right sub for this.

I live in a rental property so cannot make massive changes but have gained permission to make smaller superficial repairs.

I’ve had a recent spurt of motivation to write and draw more. I’ve improved my desk space and have been spending a lot of time here - however the window I am sitting beside has a very damaged frame. I live in an old house in Melbourne - terrible building standards and real estate agents here. It’s not the most inspiring thing to look at each day and I’m keen to spruce things up a bit.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can give the frame a bit of a facelift without replacing or repainting the whole thing? Like I’m imagining some kind of filler putty and maybe painting small parts of the frame? That’s completely unfounded guesswork though lol so if anyone has any ideas, I’d really appreciate your input!

Yesterday I accidentally manifested a new desk - exactly the kind I’d been picturing was given to me for free by a friend unexpectedly. This friend is a quite successful comic artist himself, so it’s hopefully carrying the energy of success lmao. Maybe I’ll even become a successful artist while sitting here too, who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s great and I’m loving the new space, but the desk has some cracks and chips in it. I think it’s wooden with shiny white paint. Obviously not the end of the world, but still open to suggestions - would it be okay to just paint over them?

I almost considered buying some white out correction fluid and using that, but quickly realised that’s probably not the most intelligent thought that I’ve ever had.

Any advice or general input is deeply appreciated, thank you in advance! 🙏🏻 x

S4E20 (lmao not the only 420 happening rn) - when Ariana’s roasting her at Tom and Katie’s engagement party. Her nostrils really took on a life of their own. Quite astounding.

Edit - this was not meant in a hateful way! Sorry if it came across like that, super stoned. I thought it was funny in the same way that I find all reality tv entertaining. I’ve been there too, have so much empathy for her and am not trying to invalidate her emotions. But those lil nose holes looked like they were gonna grow wings and flap awaaay

Honestly relatable, I have no eyebrows either. However, I didn’t torture someone over crypto so actually maybe not that relatable 🤷🏻‍♀️
