the valley is stoopid

unfortunately that’s all I really have to say at this point

I just want to tell them all to shhhhhhh

Edit: just woke up to 13 unexpected reddit notifications, sorry everyone lmao - had a mate’s birthday last night that escalated dramatically 🥴🥂

I overall don’t mind the valley but at times it feels like they’re trying to force drama for the cameras. Obv this happens on all reality but I’m really finding this season hard to watch.

Another unpopular opinion I have is that Schwartz and Lala are a good addition to the show, purely because I miss the original VPR cast. Rip 🥲

I figured out why Charlie looks so different

He’s tinted his gawd damn eyebrows. Heck, maybe he’s even had microblading done. Took me a minute to process why he had such a different vibe.

Hair is darker too. Tryna fend off the ginge.
Honestly relatable, I have no eyebrows either. However, I didn’t torture someone over crypto so actually maybe not that relatable 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I’m just finally catching up on the first ep of season 2 x

EDIT: this could be a completely unfounded and unhinged thing to say but did he have an upper bleph?

Seeking advice about cockatoos

The last few days a large flock of white cockatoos have been flying and squawking around near my house. I’ve never seen this happen before on the regular in my ten years here.

They are beautiful and majestic and I love them. I know parrots are super intelligent and would love to leave them some lil treats on my lawn or balcony. Does anyone know what they’re into?

Also if this is a terrible idea because of environmental, ethical or safety reasons I would also like to please know.

Thanks in advance x

Edit - lmao thank you for everyone telling me to absolutely not do anything to draw their attention to my rental, was a pipe dream born of a very late and silly evening (/morning)

summer house reunion optical illusion

at first I thought there was a split screen happening off centre, but then I realised I was witnessing a moment of perfect alignment

the shelf, couch division and candle holder all form a vertical line from this angle (ciara’s foot kinda helps too)

edit: yes I am high

this is the least andy has ever been needed in a reunion

the cast has been so insightful, direct and comprehensive with their analysis and questioning of what’s happened that andy’s job has almost been done for him

bravo to bravo for finally putting intelligent people with morals and complex cognitive abilities on our screens

Does anyone know what this is?

Edit: top theories seem to be indicating a 1930s electrical substation? With a possible water fountain moment on the front? Or a water main valve? Or an entrance to a mythical land? And hopefully no one using the back as a toilet

Day 1 of LSD microdose, 10ug in liquid form (32f)

Due to a series of ✨traumas✨ leaving me with chronic pain, unemployment and creative blocks, I have decided to begin microdosing LSD.

I had my first dose about 30 minutes ago (8:45am).

If anyone has some wisdom, advice, experiences they’d like to share, I’d love to please hear them. I’m particularly interested in the effects on sleep quality and appetite.

Around 12 years ago I went through a separate difficult period in my life that I processed quite well at the time. I’ve realised it was likely because I was frequently taking LSD at the time recreationally (maybe a bit too frequently, moderate doses multiple times a week 🥴).

I learned so much, completely changed my self-perception and my confidence and sense of self-worth skyrocketed. After an existential crisis I concluded that the meaning of life was simply living, and we must live by spreading as much love and compassion as possible without judgement.

Because of my more recent hurdles, my confidence is incredibly low. I struggle to feel “valuable” and my day to day life seems grey and uninspiring. I fear my future and struggle with concerns that I’ll never be able to achieve anything worthwhile. I’m also frequently stuck in the past, reliving painful medical traumas, relationship traumas and feelings of self-loathing I hadn’t experienced since I was a teenager. An unexpected recent breakup has been the icing on the cake.

I also realised I’ve barely had any psychedelics in years. They used to be my bread and butter, loved taking them semi-regularly after my initial binge (oops) but I had my first bad trip a couple years ago that spooked me.

A couple of weeks ago I hit a low I didn’t think was possible. I simply no longer wanted to be here. It felt like no amount of “fixing” could repair my life. I wanted so badly to tap out. Fortunately I’ve had a spiritual awakening and firmly believe in collective consciousness and reincarnation, so I knew that wasn’t an option.

So here I am. Faced with the realisation that I simply must get on with things. My external reality will not improve until my internal state is fixed. I’m really hoping that LSD will help me find my way through the darkness once again - even though I didn’t understand it deeply enough back then to know how it was benefitting me.

I would love for this to reignite my creativity, giving me some purpose and direction. Maybe even income long-term. I’ll include a bit of my art in this post for self-motivation. It’s all quite old at this point.

If you’ve made it this far, thanks for listening to my rant. This should’ve probably been a journal entry, lmao. Much love x

I’m genuinely wondering if her new single is literally AI generated vocals?

It hardly sounds like her. Like yes at some moments during the song? But barely. Not even talking about the musical style, like there are way less harmonies than usual but it just really doesn’t actually sound like her voice. There’s a hint of it but something feels super off. Undoubtedly she’s cooked her vocal cords with all the drug use and ED shiz but something seems too different. Thoughts?

Jason is nothing more than an agent of chaos for the producer’s manufactured drama

I keep seeing a lot of posts and comments discussing Jason not doing his job properly, dropping the ball regarding staff management etc.

I’d like to preface this by saying he’s obviously an accomplished and experienced captain and has earned his rank.

HOWEVER.

We have watched him become bravo’s darling over the last several years. Andy loves him, everyone fawns over him at bravocon, he’s consistently named as one of the hottest men on bravo by people in the bravoverse.

It’s easy to imagine that all going to his head a bit and agreeing to whatever incentives the producers have offered him to play the role they need him to - creating drama to increase the viewership of the show.

Jason has consistently made decisions, during this season especially, that no captain would logically make. He was determined to keep Alesia on board despite her incompetence and childish behaviour. He let Mike stick around. He more recently kept Jenna around. I can’t remember it all off the top of my head - but he’s made a number of decisions that have lead to further conflict and discontent amongst the crew.

What we need to acknowledge is that THIS IS DELIBERATE. He’s been instructed to keep these messy ass bishes around to keep the show interesting. Below Deck has become hyper-produced, evident in the all star cast vibe of Down Under, Mike being hired (he’s been on another reality show and was clearly incompetent/tapped out), plus the guest choices - and their lives at home being filmed weeks prior to boarding.

During the most recent episode, Jason briefed the HODs on the incoming guests and how problematic they’d been last season. Daisy responds with a quiet grin “…and you let them come back?”. Jason weakly defends the decision saying they’re nice people, they like their drinking and they will push buttons. Yes, he said their button pushing is a reason to bring them back.

After he says this the camera pans to the HODs and then back to Jason - who GULPS AS HIS EYES DART AROUND.

That for me was all the confirmation I needed that Jason is making absolutely zero decisions based on what’s best for the crew. He is creating drama under the instruction of the producers. I’d be shocked if he has any say in guest choice or crew staffing.

I meant to make a post about this when I recorded it a few days ago but decided I cbf. However seeing so many people discussing him, I thought it was appropriate.

I still love this show but the authenticity of the original concept has sadly dwindled into a shadow of itself.

ellie saying eddy was attaching his self worth to how jenna saw him

gurl please 😂

I’m not saying she’s necessarily incorrect but like does she possess a single ounce of self-awareness omg hahaha

Ellie dancing in the background while everyone else is crashing out

Probably the first thing she’s done that I’ve found entertaining and not infuriating lmao
