I need to secure my wig down by my ears but no tape or glue

I wear a 13x6 “glueless” lacefront wig but its not actually glueless. I need to secure it down by my ears because when i walk the wind kinda blows it back.
I do remove my wig every night.
The glue is too messy for me & i worry the tape wont work because i only need it for the day.
I have adhd and autism so im hoping for some recommendations that are simple to follow and easy to do in the morning without adding too much extra to my routine. Thanks!

How to handle change completely out of your control?

When i find something that works for me I probably won’t change it for my entire life. The change is usually forced upon me and im trying to learn how to not let it affect me as much as it does or trying to have maybe a different mindset? For me, its not so much the change but that predictably removes the mental load.
Some examples..
-i twist & pull my hair because of that i wear a wig. Once i find a wig that actually works for me..a year or so later the company closes. They are $500+ so I can’t really stock up.
-favorite products being discontinued or reformulated
-i commute to work & random roadwork with no warning & i have to take unfamiliar routes
-favorite stores closing
-pharmacy changing the manufacturer of my sleeping pills without telling me
-all of the phone updates constantly. I still cant find app settings as easily or i feel like my photos got all mixed up.

Looking for advice from development professionals on a new responsibility

I’m a Volunteer Manager in the Development department at a nonprofit. I manage our volunteer program, but I was recently tasked with asking volunteers to become monthly donors at the end of volunteer events. I’ve been given a goal of converting 8 volunteers per quarter into recurring monthly donors.

The challenge is that I’m very new to the nonprofit and philanthropy world. nothing in my job description involved making donation asks or soliciting gifts. We do have an Individual Giving Officer and a Major Gifts Officer, but it’s my understanding that our monthly giving program hasn’t really taken off, so this responsibility was given to me.

The problem is that I haven’t received any training or guidance on how to actually make the ask, even though I have requested it. I am not sure how to even look up or research what exactly I am asking for. I’m essentially being told to pitch monthly giving to volunteers after they’ve finished volunteering, but I don’t know what that conversation should sound like or what best practices are.

Taylor is not emotionally stable

Let’s talk about Taylor. I can empathize with having past trauma and healing from that but she clearly hasn’t and isn’t someone I would want around my children or helping raise my kids. She is toxic and I hope Mitchell can see that too.

First time decorating beyond the basics. What would you do with this living room?

hi everyone! Im finally getting to a place where i can think about adding personality and decorations to my home and would love some help. I dont know how to match well and struggling to decide what color to purchase things in. I really want to add curtains but dont know what they should look like or what color. I would like a new coffee table too, this is the one from my apartment. Im stuck on what to do with the wall with the tv. Right now i feel like the tv stand and the tv look like one unit. I have no idea what to do. The wall is like 12 feet like and 12 feet high, but also at a slant at the top. I would love some advice or even pictures!

Thanks so much in advance!

Experience partnering with visit.org

Please help. My boss wants me to look into visit.org. Does anyone in development or philanthropy have any experience partnering with visit.org? What was it like? Did you get new corporate partnerships from them? I am looking for the pros and cons, because from their website, it doesn’t tell me much

Childhood Photo Centering Help (Free Request)

I’m hoping someone might be willing to help me with a small free request. I found this childhood photo of myself, but it’s a photo of a printed photo, so there’s a lot of dead space/background around it. I’d love help getting it centered better and cropped nicely

Local children have launched a full scale sanitation sales campaign against the neighborhood

Every month the kids in the neighborhood (probably like ages 10 or 11) come and ring everyones doorbell on our street and ask us if they can “clean our trash cans for $20” weeks tell them no or try to ignore them, but if we don’t answer the door, they keep ringing the doorbell. Also they ask on Saturday or Sunday which?? Whats the business model here! Trash days are Wednesday. We all have trash in our trash cans! What is the plan? Stop bothering us! I went over to their parents house this weekend and tried to ask them to stop but the parents don’t speak english so I couldn’t communicate with them.

I have a no solicitation sign up on my door because i don’t like people ringing my bell! But i wouldnt be surprised if they didn’t know what that meant lol

Arizona native needing ideas for retired in-laws

Hi everyone! Arizona native here, born and raised in Chandler and currently living in Phoenix. My entire family is here, so I’ve honestly never really had to think about entertaining stuff for guests 😅

My in-laws are coming this weekend from Maryland (Friday–Sunday), and I’d love to take them somewhere cool or uniquely Arizona. They’re retired, in their 60s, and have somewhat limited mobility, so long outdoor activities or hiking are probably out. Also trying to avoid being outside too much because of the heat.

Most of the things I normally do are bars, restaurants, and nightlife (I’m 28), so I’m realizing I have no idea what people actually do here besides that lol. (This isn’t about visiting Arizona because I have lived here my whole life and I am very familiar with most places, I just don’t know what older folks might like here!)

I have been in the professional workforce for about 9 to 10 years and I feel like I cannot find clothes that are comfortable AND meet the standard of what the dress code is at work. I found these midi skirts that have a bunch of beautiful patterns on them and then I purchased a bunch of plain tops to match them in different colors and I have been wearing those to work and then today another coworker commented and called it my “uniform” because I’m essentially wearing the same thing every day just different colors and it makes me feel really self-conscious because this is what I’m comfortable in and I don’t know what else that I can wear and I guess I have a habit of wearing the same thing and I can’t figure out how to change it. I hope this makes sense
