At what point should I stop buying strength?

I read in some posts that Strength starts acting weird after some levels but found no definitive answer.

What's the magic number I shouldn't cross? I know 13 allows to lift most stuff but I also read that 20+ makes those easier to lift. But then it starts getting weird and suddenly you can't lift some things.

So what's the exact number?

And why does this even happen anyways? I'm surprised such a big bug hasn't been fixed if the game has been out for a long time

Why is Flash sending you backwards still not fixed after so many years?

I know, I know. I should hold and drag my spells. But in the middle of a fight where there's many inputs I need to do that's not always easy. Flash is a very reactive skill so this one more than any other should be a quick tap.

Is it that much to ask to have Flash go in the direction I am aiming at? I am running south, aiming south, and the enemy is north, and flash flashes me north. WHY?

And why is this still not fixed?

Bravery Arena is horrible and destroys the mode for me and my friends

I understand that people abusing the meta picks is boring but isn't that what bans and balance patches are for? We just pick our fav champs, not what's strong, and we get caught in the crossfire.

Removing options from players just really doesn't feel like the right solution. I want an alternative mode to summoner's rift where I can actually play a specific champion I like.

So what is my option for that now? Brawl is gone, mayhem is random, aram is random.. and now even arena?? Why does everything have to be random?

They already tested Bravery Arena once. I guess it's time to skip Arena for a while again. Sad.

Is the Yun Tal build legit?

I've seen in some stat websites that players are experimenting with crit builds, especially rushing Yun Tal, and having a much higher winrate than on-hit. However, the sample size is still low and the wr could be high due to only being mains running that build.

What are your thoughts on crit build? And what other items should I build after Yun Tal if I go for it? After Yun Tal and IE, I was a bit... lost. I feel like I was too squishy, the remaining crit items aren't good and mixing it with on-hit felt weird since no defensive items.

Also the one game I tried was probably the game that went the worst for me, hard walled by a fed malph who 1v9 that game against us.

Personally, I find on-hit better, but maybe I am doing something wrong? Enlighten me, please

Why does ToA not get voice acting while Kingdom does?

EDIT: Obviously talking about English VA. They had English in Kingdom, so idk why not here.

I really dislike afk-combat games like Kingdom, yet, I often feel tempted to come back to it just because the voice acting is SO nice. It just makes the game actually immersive and for once I don't skip all dialogues.

Why couldn't they do this in ToA? Maybe it's just me but it would have made the game a lot more successful.

And before anyone says "Kingdom is more successful than ToA so they put more resources on it"... Yeah, no wonder! When you put more care and effort into something, of course it's more successful! Had they ever tried to put that much love and VA in ToA, I'm sure it would have pulled better numbers. The gameplay is just so much better since you actually have to move around, dodge stuff, and actually feel like you are playing the game.

Why didn't they even try?

Tower of Builds link?

I'm back in the game and I'm genuinely lost about builds, what to grind for, etc. I've been doing some research and apparently there is a discord server about this but all links I find are broken. Is there any permanent link? Thanks!

My mail was full of resources and I wanna make sure I use them wisely

Mega Pyroar hits harder and faster than Mega Charizard Y

I've never really cared about Pyroar as a mon, but the amount of hate it's getting after its new ability reveal really shocks me.

Fire Mane is busted. 50% boost to fire moves is insane.

"it's a worse adaptability" except it's not, adaptability is an additive boost, from 1.5 to 2 on STAB. While Fire Mane is multiplicative, essentially making it 2.25

You know what else is multiplicative? SUN.

For some reason, everyone forgot that other sun setters/methods exist. You can combine both.

Sure, MCharizard Y may still be better thanks to the convenience of having Sun incorporated in the same mon, for role compression purposes.

But if you can afford it/benefit from it, with a sun setter, Mega Pyroar will hit way harder, while being faster than Charizard.

Sure it may be a boring upgrade, but it's definitely a good upgrade and arguably much better than the highly praised Mega Eelektross ability (which is great, but not on a mon that doesn't have the initial power to actually get that KO to get the boost)

Why on earth do aphelios mains build C44?

I always regarded Aphelios as one of the few adcs who actually loves and thrives in short range fights, mostly thanks to white gun.

So, seeing how, from all ADCs, Aphelios is the one that rushes C44 item, an item that benefits from long range, even more than let's say Jinx or Caitlyn... I just can't wrap my head around it.

Especially considering that we get free Lethality from passive, making Collector feel even stronger than on any other ADC.

I simply don't see any reason to buy this dogs**t item, let alone rush it first item (lol), ESPECIALLY when collector exists. Even if it didn't I'd rather rush IE, Yuntal, Kraken... like why C44????

And YES, I know green gun exists. Yes, I know it's not just its extra range, but also the marks it leaves that we can proc from far. Yes I know Aphelios can also play and do a lot from long range.

Still, I think where our real damage is, is on the Red White combo and that wants closer range.

I'm sorry but I really want and need some proper convincing on this one.

Why did they remove Backpacked mod for the ugly Inmis backpacks? (Bmc4)

This has to be the worst downgrade in the history. This is the worst backpack mod i've ever seen... just why? No sidegrades, no customization, very low slots... and the texture in the back isnt even 3d???? Why...?

Does this actually work?

I tried the oral minoxidil for a few months (for scalp hair though) and what I ended up getting was actually a lot of un expected hair in the back of my hands and around my eyes.

I was turning into a werewolf... except for the fact that still can't fully grow a beard, and still pretty much 0 hair in my chest.

Is there no hope for me? Or maybe I should try local minoxidil? I'm just scared of the side effects again. It's already taking me more than a year to get rid of the new hair in my hands

So what is the alternative now?

For many of us, Copilot is officially dead now. I can't really spend more than 50$ a month (which is already an insane amount btw) but I still use it daily, multiple prompts.

With the new usage system, I already burned 500 out of my 7000 monthly tokens of my Pro+ plan with Sonnet (not even Opus) in just a couple of prompts.

Clearly we need a new alternative. Any ideas? I am low on budget so obviously I don't have a great PC to host anything crazy myself.

PS: And yes, I am a software engineer and know coding, but the massive increase in efficiency AI provides is just undeniable. The competition is using it, so we gotta keep up.

Why did this bot refuse to place a 3rd basic? Never even tried to use my stadium

Was trying to get both of my last missions done with this match but bot refused to give me the 3rd point.

This is so unusual, usually they fill the bench as soon as they can and use your own stadiums.

What happened to this bot?

Are their decks so badly made that they only have 2 basics? (and different ones)

Or does it have some weird AI that detects Meowscarada's attack as bench snipe and doesn't place any more? Still odd he didn't use stadium

Why is banning Terapagos Stellar form considered a "complex ban"?

I'm curious as to what makes this case different than Mega Rayquaza ban in Ubers.

Terastal/Base Terapagos is a really cool and interesting mon that could be fun to play with in OU, however, due to the fact that it can tera into Stellar form, which is very strong, it is banned.

It has been said that they can't just ban the Stellar form alone because it would be a "complex ban". However, I don't understand why it is, or why that would be a bad thing?

Let me explain.

There's two ways a ban can be considered "complex". One would be code/implementation wise, and the other would be community/consistency wise.

In terms of coding it, it would be easy and trivial, so we don't need to consider that. (and if it is, I'll gladly go and do a pull request on the repo myself with the implementation)

So the issue must be the consistency, communicating it to people.

It's easy to explain smogon rules by just giving a list of pokemon and items that are banned. If you have to also list "BUT you can use X mon, with Y move and at level 98" then that would get very awkward and, indeed, complicated.

HOWEVER! This is not the case!

While it's true that banning Terapagos Stellar form is actually banning the ability for Terapagos to terastallize, which is a complex rule... This is only relevant for the coding side! For the rule set, simply saying "Terapagos-Stellar is banned" is good enough! In practice, it achieves the same effect, and thus the problem is solved.

You don't need to add any unique case or exception to the OU ruleset, you just add "Terapagos-Stellar" to Palafin, Roaring Moon... and the rest of the squad, and let the coders deal with the underlying complexity of it

4 years after Covid, still getting vasculitis on my legs

Anyone else experiencing this? Leukocytoclastic vasculitis first appeared to me 4 years ago, me being 24, at the very same time I got Covid. I literally got diagnosed with covid because I went to the doctor to check what is wrong with my legs getting all red.

Ever since then, I've basically developed chronic vasculitis that keeps coming back every 2-4 months.

Sometimes more severe than others. Sometimes just 1-2 isolated small red dots, sometimes both of my legs are covered in red/purple spots and it's itchy and annoying

It seems to be triggered by getting sick (even just a minor cold), tight clothes or just colder weather

It's been 4 years now and it keeps happening and it's starting to really annoy me.

Will this ever go away forever? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Doctors seem just as clueless, they labeled it as leukocytoclastic vasculitis, gave me some corticoids to take for whenever it appears, and called it a day.

No way to prevent it or stop it from reappearing ever again

EDIT: i meant pokemon card, I know Copycat is the best

I don't think enough talk is being made about just HOW good this card is. I don't feel like exaggerating when saying that Indeedee EX is to B set, what Greninja was to A set.

There may not be top tier meta decks at all times using this card, but you know it will come back when the right abusers arise. Just like Greninja, it's one of those extremely powerful and versatile cards that you can force into decks even of different energy types and it will provide lots of value.

And, even better than Greninja, this is a basic, and while it shines because of its ability, it actually also has a really powerful attack, which I find ridiculous considering how good the ability already is.

The amount of sneaky wins I have gotten on psychic decks, out of finishing a careless opponent with Indeedee is crazy.

I think we need to give this card more credit. The value is just too good. AND ON A BASIC. Remember that.

If it wasn't for bench sniping, or the fact that arguably the 2nd/3rd best B set card may be Hydreigon (direct counter), I think we would see it even more

I've been obsessed over Flygon ever since it was leaked. I really love this ability and I think it has a lot of potential.

After trying all forms of it: with Decidueye, with Jumpluff, with Meowth... I found this one to be the best.

You need a tank to set up Flygon. But you want Flygon to be the tank. So just make him immortal.

I genuinely survived 6+ turns of back to back Mega Blaziken attacks while I chipped his entire board, until I finally pulled a grass energy and he surrendered

Bricking energy? Arboliva takes that as an advantage! You can keep discarding that excess energy to keep pressuring with your ability.

You will probably lose to the usual suspects (filthy bench sn*pers) just like any healing deck, but if you can fit some ponchos somehow, you could be fine
