Warm whisky?!

So it is quite warm where I live at the moment, and my bottle of the abalvenie double wood 12 was sitting on a shelf where it was around 30°C, so I popped it open, took a glass, and to my surprise, it tastes better than it tasted a few days ago. Am I going crazy, or does warm whisky actually taste better? To me it is sweeter, and I taste more of the underlying tones, has anyone else noticed this?

Wtf puma

Ordered a new pair of shoes, (obviously about time), so went to my old order, and ordered the exact same pair, in the exact same size again, they have shrunk in width... They now do not fit my feet anymore, this was the 3rd time I ordered the exact same pair of shoes over the span of a few years, so I expected the exact same model to fit me... Why would they change this fit of an existing model???

Just got my first espresso setup

I just retired my delonghi magnifica s for this setup, I'm excited to try it out. I bought the quick mill eline 0970 for 400 euros (with a new pump and rubbers) and the rest is new. Any good tutorials to watch to get the most out of this?

To the giants of reddit...

Hey there, I have been looking for a comfortable office chair since my current one is falling apart, but I have ran into a problem, chairs do not seem to be made for my build (in my budget range), I am a 196cm (6'5) 140kg (300lbs) male, and every chair made for tall people seem to not be made for my weight, and chairs that are, are not made for my height. I thought I had found it when I was looking at a herman miller aeron size c, but now that I look into it further I read more and more that that can also get uncomfortable for people of my weight, so now I am utterly lost. I have a budget of around 600 euro's and I am ok with refurbished chairs, does anyone have a recommendation? Sorry to be a bother, but this is my last resort.

finally upgraded my internet

so i've had a pretty good pc setup for a while now, but my internet has always been really bad, we had a 75Mbps subscription, and it hopped wirelessly from 3 tp-link deco m5's to my pc, needless to say, if anybody else was on our wifi, my internet would become unusable, so i finally gotten around to fixing it, and i ran a cat6a cable through an empty pipe and upgraded the internet subscription to 1Gbps, now i can finally have stable and fast internet... it feels like such a breath of fresh air

ts actually really pissed me off....

i was trying to get a 500 km/h or more on a speed trap, and this actually made me doubt if speed traps where capped or not... i did find out later that it was not after several more tries, and a lot of damaged nps cars, and that i was just extremely unlucky

Touchscreen defect

I had this line in my Google Pixel 7 pro, in which the touchscreen just stopped working, after a while it grew into a size that it was becoming un usable, the black dot in the left corner also started forming in that time, my best guess is that the battery is slowly swelling up, could this be the case, or is it just a touchscreen defect?

I just ordered myself a black keychron Q5 max with KKB Vibrato Keycaps, i come from an old k95 rgb Platinum, and i wanted a good Keyboard. But now i have 2 questions, i kind of rushed my decision process, even going as far as ordering them in between sessions in the gym, and i want to know if i made a good or horrible call with this keyboard, and my second question may be an enormous shot in the dark, but does anybody here have that combo? Because i really want to know how they look together.

As a follow up on my "practice makes perfect... Right?" Post of Yesterday, here is todays attempt, i could actually eat this one thanks to your tips, i put my ooni on ultra low mode for this, but my crust did not seem to puff up, it was still raw inside. Was this because of the fact that the flame was so low, or did i do something wrong with my dough?

This is how my first attempt at making a pizza went... Maybe i need an easier dough recipe, and a bit more practice
