Citrix Workspace - "An unknown error occurred while trying to open the resource"

Battled this error message for a few weeks; the Help Desk who manages the hosted app suggested a re-image/wipe/reinstall of the OS but in the environment I work in this would have been hectic. Decided to dig deeper into the problem and created a fix. For any of those facing the same exact problem, here is the shared solution: https://www.digitaljoshua.com/citrix-workspace-an-unknown-error-occurred-while-trying-to-open-the-resource-fixed/

Buying products vs client buying the products

I have a sole proprietorship LLC; my question relates to purchasing products (goods) that you will sell, and the advantage/disadvantage of purchasing the product yourself, or letting the client purchase it, and how this is best for taxes. Example:

A client wants a computer and to pay me for the service to install it.
I Purchase the computer for $650 (company credit card)
I Charge the client $150 for the install
Client gives me a check for $800

Total income for the transaction is only $150.00 because I had to purchase the computer, yet on taxes, $800 is reported, and then the goods are deducted.

Question is, what would this look like if:
Client purchases the computer for $650
I charge $150 for the install
Client gives me a check for $150 for the install
Report income of $150.00 on Taxes.

Which one is better for the LLC? What's the advantage/disadvantage of each one?

Thanks.

G1000 Desktop Trainer Fun

Testing out and having fun with this Unit. To date, it is the most realistic G1000 Trainer I have worked with, feeling exactly like the many Aircraft I have flown in with a G1000 unit.

"Alright Mr. Balding!"

Anybody else hear screech say it at exactly 7:04?
Was this on purpose because at 1:46 he says "he's got so much more hair than you do sir"
Or is this an actual mistake?

Oils that actually WORK for food smells

When family visits, then so does cooking, and the following was tested in a 1100²ft place which unfortunately has no kitchen ventilation or Hood.

Every time cooking took place, the smell lingered for 1+ days, no matter what we did. So we started playing around with opening doors, using air purifiers, carbon activated filters, etc.

We had read about boiling vinegar, and this does in fact work, but Vinegar has a strong smell. Eventually, we came down to the following formula which eliminates most of the food smell, and completely, when aided with the following setup:

  1. 30-60 minutes before we start cooking, we prepare: 10 drops of Eucalyptus Globulus, 10 drops of Tea Tree oil, 10 drops of peppermint, and 10 Drops of either LemonGrass, Lemon or Grapefruit. We initiate the diffuser and set it to Auto which usually lasts about 4-5 hours.
  2. Air Purifier runs quietly on low above fridge - AMEIFU H13 Hepa Double-Sided Air Filter Purifier (Amazon).
  3. We pry a door open just a little bit to allow some of the air to circulate outside.
  4. We turn on the downstairs bathroom exhaust fan.
  5. Central AC runs normally.

This does not eliminate the odor immediately, however it neutralizes the majority of it and in a few hours it is gone. I know there's many on here saying that essential oils don't do this, but every day that we have tried it during cooking (chicken, fish, baking cookies, etc) it works wonderfully. The other steps helped, but the essential oils was the nail in the coffin for the smells. The trick is to place it as far away from the AC return as possible so it circulates around. in the room - preferably close to the kitchen. A second, smaller diffuser may be added upstairs or in another hallway, or if your returns are upstairs, in the area around the stairs so the AC pulls the oil smell upstairs as well.

Hope this helps someone out there and glad to answer any questions.

These Air Purifiers make a noticeable difference

Even keeping a very clean house, no carpet in this room, AC filters changed every 1 to 1.5 months, this is the result after dusting inside this room (including floors, walls and ceilings). The Purifier catches ALL of the dust on both front and back filters. This is a AMEIFU F1 inside a room that is 12'x12' (144 ft^(2)). It is doing a wonderful job - the room has way less dust on furniture and fan, and I'm no longer seeing those dust balls on the floor either.
