I woke up to this thing being in my tank today. I am completely at a loss. I have been blacking out my tank to try to get an algae bloom under control.
I’ve bought a few of these, but the darken over time. Can I get some advise on lighting? I got these guys. In the order I’ve numbered them above. I got three and four at the same time. I got 3 and 4 at the same time, #3 was a little darker when I got it. Three and four have not darkened at all. These are in a lower light area. I keep as a kind of hospital area for New and delicate cacti.
I’ve been seeing a seller on Marketplace advertising these. I ordered a 12 to 15 inch cutting and got this 18 inch beast. I’m floored.
I bought these off a Chinese seller on eBay. I’m super happy with them, but I subsequently discovered Palmstreet and bought 10 (yes, 10 for about what I paid for these. I paid about $40-$50 each for these. I’m in happy with this purchase though.
I’m happy with how the one in the white post came out.
This might be temporary. But I think it looks pretty cool.
I had a friend of mine from high school reach out to tell me he found this shirt and he knew he borrowed it off of me in the early 90s. He asked me if I wanted him to ship it to me. Of course I said yes. It’s actually pretty cool because I used to move around a lot so I don’t have any of my old band T-shirts from back in the day. Cool and random thing to happen. I bought this at their concert. And I have the tickets stubbed to prove it.
I posted in here last week about my boy ripping his stitches out and needing an emergency vet visit. The stitches are out. I’ve been taking him out on long walks twice a day. The vet said his recovery is ahead of schedule. I took this 100% sassy pic of him, so I thought I would post it.
He ripped his stitches from a recent knee surgery. So we got to spend the night at the emergency vet. This is a top 10 pic of my sweet boy and he’s all better, so I got that going for me.
Also, pickleball is the official sport of Washington state?
I get anti-anxiety meds for my dogs every year for the Fourth of July weekend. Fireworks are crazy where I live. My old vet gave me Xanax for my dogs. My new vet gave me trazodone for one of them and I was smart enough to have him write a script for Xanax for the other one. The Trazodone knocked my little man completely out. He barely moved for 3 or 4 hours. These pictures were taken when he was still coherent.
I have a copy of the Quiex II pressing. It’s an amazing pressing.
I bought these at a garage sale a very long time ago. They’ve been in the back of the sunglass drawer since I bought them. I was going through some of the pairs I no longer wear to thin the herd a bit and came across them. Been wearing them pretty consistently since then. They’re K&H Solar spree with 14k frames.
I’m planning on a tank with a few variegated plants so I am going for a monochromatic look. I am going to change the back to black.
I picked these up with another one for $40 off marketplace. I figured since these both have the same shape I would put them together. I like the way they turned out.
Did a pretty large trim yesterday. Evidently I took the lone surviving shrimp’s hiding spot away, because this is what I saw when I went to feed him this morning. I’m done buying shrimp for the tank. At least they’re ghost shrimp, so they’re .80 snacks.
