“USS Silversides Dry Dock Update:

The aft flood valve in main ballast tank “2D” was stamped as a valve for the USS Trigger, which was a sister submarine built adjacent to the USS Silversides. The valve has been removed and saved to be shown on display at the museum after the dry dock project is completed.

Leaving her home of Muskegon, MI the Silversides is in Sturgeon Bay, WI for a 3 month $3.5m preservation project.

I’ve had the pleasure of being on board several times and even being present for an engine light off. It may not be the most bad ass sub of WWII however it has a storied history of being the third most successful allied sub of WWII (23 sinking) as well as being a training sub for many years before becoming a museum in her permanent home of Muskegon.

I put a CAR stock on it, and snagged a DPMS M231 stock a weekly later. After deciding a dedicated M231 upper would be too much trouble for me I decided to slap it on the DOE

If you stocked up pre 7/1 and you’re avoiding exercising your rights now then make sure you dust off your safe queens every now and then. Freedom has been packed with hours long wait lists for weeks and it was a ghost town today.

Hopped on the JAKL-9 train when the SD upper was launched and ended up getting an AP5 not long after.

I don’t have numbers to provide on the dB but I’m happy to show you that the Milkman will shoot .300 subs no problem.

If you’ve be considering one I hope this helps your decision making.

I looked at the Sugar Weasel and told myself I can do it cheaper and ended up with this. A little off color and little longer but it’s got the right spirit.

9” non-adjustable. Runs subs and supers with my Polonium-30 or subs really well with the Milkman.

The rattle can was lighter on the gun than it looked in the store but I ended up liking it so much I full sent it

First it’s a city employee buying cellphones for friends, now it’s our city employees falling for the oldest scam in the book.

I get warm and fuzziness knowing my property taxes are raised annually to fund the cities projects and operations only for them to be thrown down the drain.

To Norfolk’s credit at least action is being taken and these gross misappropriation of funds are being uncovered. How the situation will be rectified and who will be held accountable is still a great question.

I’ve gotten vehicle kills with jets but it’s usually after a combination of AGM, unguided bombs, and cannon ++ other players damaging the vehicles.

I’m willing to accept I don’t have an A-10 or Su-25 but a dirt bike only getting damaged and the driver not killed is just crazy. It doesn’t get any more unarmored than that.

I thought maybe the driver hopped off last second but when I looked closely at the minimap I saw they kept riding until someone killed them and I got an assist.

My initial impression in my non scientific testing is that the Blazer outperforms the Lawman when it comes to felt recoil and sound mitigation.

While the Lawman visibly has more gas it should be noted that neither actually sent gas to my face (thank you Milkman). The “clean-fire” Blazer is meant to keep toxic elements out your face which is most beneficial indoors.

My testing is purely anecdotal however if you’ve been interested in the new Blazer offering and worried that it doesn’t perform- buy with confidence. As always YMMV.
