This is with his normal dose of puppy Prozac, plus 100mg of trazadone, *and* 100mg of gabapentin 😅
If you remember me, I'm the one who shaved me head badly bald back in January. It was the right thing to do at the time (my mom passed away and I had to clean out her house and couldn't think of even washing my hair let alone taking care of curls).
Now I'm in the super awkward phase of growing it out, so that's fun. The biggest issue I have is that I use a CPAP machine at night and the straps go right across the top of my head, putting a big stupid dent in my hair. Has anybody found a way to avoid this?
Routine:
Wash - Curlsmith core strength shampoo
Condition - Curlsmith multi tasking conditioner
Squeeze out excess water
Scrunch Curlsmith light weight protein cream through while still wet
Plop (as much as you can plop 3" long hair) into a microfiber turban until heavy water is out
Air dry and try not to fuss with it
Western Pennsylvania, 7b, let the yard grow wild. Should I be concerned about this thing being near my vegetable garden and in my dog run?
My SIL plays guitar for a living and we thought it would be fun to make a guitar together. I am rather crafty, if I do say so myself, but I haven't done anything like this before. A few thoughts I've had:
Print the guitar body in PLA, sand and fill, cast a silicone mold, and cast in epoxy resin. Pros: end product will be 100% custom and easily repeatable. Cons: a solid resin guitar body would be crazy heavy, sanding/filling is time intensive.
Print the guitar body in PLA, sand and fill, paint, done. Still fairly custom, also time intensive to finish. May not be strong enough to actually play.
Print the guitar body in wood PLA, finish as above. More durable (maybe?), real wood feel, could stain/varnish instead of paint. Not very "custom" at all though.
My questions to you all:
a) Which method would you do?
b) Will I need to install hardware inside the print to mount the actual music making parts? (I have zero knowledge of what makes a guitar actually work, that's my SIL's part of the project)
c) Am I forgetting anything? Or missing a concern or step somewhere?
d) Are there other ways to reduce the weight of the resin version? I don't think I can sand inside all those honeycombs well enough to get a good mold out of it.
e) Is there a good way to scan one of his actual guitars and make a model out of that? So I could customize the 3D print on the front end?
I'm willing to spend time and money on this. 60% scale test print for attention. TIA!
My one bean plant has had holes in the leaves, but this is the first time I've seen the culprit... Hello me save my beans! 🫘
Don't get me wrong, I love the coochy rinse, especially when I'm on my period. But the icon for it is hilarious to me.
