Is baby oil a good finishing oil?

This is for a very unserious project. I have wood cross sections that I wanna seal with oil and then put mod podge on top to seal it. It's mainly so I can use it in the background of pictures. Nothing wet would go on them, just my art projects

I've done this in the past and I bought boiled linseed oil for it. That was back in 2022 or 2023 and it's still sitting in the garage (where it gets really hot/cold during seasons). Idk if it's still safe to use. Plus the worry of the rag I use catching on fire

Baby oil is the other option which I can readily use. I know there's better options out there but I just wanna finish this off quick and use what I have in the house. So any help would be appreciated!!! 💕

Google said that mineral oil might leave the top oily/never dry and become cloudy over time which I don't want because my art is also cloth so I don't want oil patches on it 😅 although it's usually like a quick 30s photo

Do you guys have tips for parking? Both forward and reverse

I'm watching videos and I know how to theoretically do it. But when I'm doing it in person, it's like my mind goes blank and nothing goes right. It's so frustrating when videos make it look so easy but I'm still struggling

I was wondering if you guys had any tips or easy ways to remember how to do both!!! Thank you 😭💕

My specific issue is knowing what point to get to before attempting to turn the car. Also how much to turn the wheel and when. And lastly, how I know I went in far enough (without hitting the curb)

Can linearis thrive in pon?

Hello, I've awful awful luck with linearis. Ive rotted it, propped it back in water with some cuttings going into soil. But all those are doing so poorly. I had a few more in water that I thought of moving to pon instead. I was wondering if you guys think they can thrive in it?

I also have SW pots and Molly's aroid mix if you think that might be a better idea too. I'm just so scared of killing these AGAIN 😭

Does day of the month affect how you're graded in your driving test?

I heard a while ago that you should try to aim your test during the start of the month or something like that because examiners have a quota they need to fill for who they fail??

Idk if this has any truth to it so I figured lemme ask here. Ik it sounds silly and it probs is. Hoping to get clarification

Trellis ideas for self watering please

I was wondering if you guys could help me with suggestions on how to trellis this. Because it's in pon, I'm scared to use anything organic like bamboo in fears it'll rot. I have some wire I could bend into a trellis, I'm scared the open part would rust in the pon and cause some issues 😭

Could I please see your setups or hear your ideas on how I could trellis it? Also because it's been growing like a vine, I'm worried it might not look great on a shaped trellis either, like a circle shape

More businesses need to have this in washrooms

Went to winners' washroom and saw this! It's the first time I've come across this smart of an idea. Hoping more places implement it so we don't have to touch a dirty handle after washing out hands

Sometimes when I wanna keep pictures but I don't wanna put them on my Google photo storage, I upload them onto my discord server to save space. It made me think about how social media companies have enough storage to save everyone's photos, convos, etc without any cap.

Do they even need storage so it's always accessible to us? Or is it a completely different process? Thanks in advance!!

EDIT: Y'all are such smarties!! Thank you for taking the time to explain!! 💕

I got this little buddy as a gift from this very sweet seller. She told me to let the soil fully dry out between waterings and don't give it direct light. So I've been following that.

It's in my north northwest facing window that's unobstructed so it gets a solid amount of low-medium light (maybe 200-400fc?). It's on a heatmat to promote root growth and a very chunky mix. I began letting the soil dry out in-between waterings. But then some of the roots would shrivel (pic 2). But I'm also scared of root rot because of what happened to my hoyas.

Idk what it wants 😭 it's a forgetii mix! Any tips from you guys would be appreciated!! Since it was a gift, I wanna try my hardest to grow it well!!
