Hi, I'm 23F and at a normal weight. I did put on some pounds recently and I will definitely lose it again, I'm already going to the gym and eating healthy again. But even when I was at a BMI of 20.5, I had a double chin and a very loose neckline. I dont know if it's fat or skin, probably both.

I'm thinking of getting a cyrolipolysis because it's advertised as permanent and isn't surgical.

I do have a budget around ~1k. As far as Ive researched, a session is about 200-400€.

Has anyone done this and how were the results?

I have a big love for cultures and humans and would like to know some more songs that have survived colonialism and cultural erasure.

I'm neither insulting nor supporting Keath in this post. It is my own opinion on the matter and I want y'all to understand both sides of the story.

I do not think Keath knew how much their project would blow up. While it is many artist's dream to reach an audience successfully, we don't understand how success and attention could overwhelm us.

​

I believe many of Keath's statements and choices recently have been a consequence of their project becoming too big for them to handle. They engage a lot with their fans, touring a lot while also being vulnerable to make their very personal project public.

I admire Keath for their creativity, talent and I 100% think their success is earned.

​

However, as their project is so personal and inseperable to their own person (as they have stated many times before), it become too much. You cannot control how fandoms behave, you cannot set up rules and boundaries that are impossible to follow.

Reacting to content that Keath does not like by taking away published characters, songs and artwork while also accusing fans of sexualising their characters AND Keath itself, is unprofessional, exaggerated and honestly... annoying to many, including me.

But I want y'all to take a step back and reflect a bit.

We all are human, we are led by our emotions. Keath may be unprofessional in handling the community, changing the lore, changing it back, etc.

But they are also, at the core, a small artists gone too big too quickly. I think Keath has been stressed out by the success and the amount of fanart, fanfiction, cosplays, etc.

This might be overwhelming, especially if your characters and songs are SO personal.

​

It might have not been a good decision to publish the story so soon as they still seem to be too attached and possessive over their work.

Blaming or accusing fans of perversion and as a consequence, removing beloved characters & gatekeeping is a weird approach to handling this situation.

But, well, it already happened. And while it is absolutely fair to criticize artists, I think we need to reflect a bit about how we would have handled it.

​

Keath started out as a small indie artist who is passionate about their work. It reacted with a lot of emotion, it is still a young adult and figuring stuff out.

​

Criticism is okay and actually needed, but we should also try to understand why Keath reacted that way. They're still human, we're human and we can only learn and grow.

​

Now for my opinion, I do not think there has been any major sexual fan content. There was shipping, maybe some fanfictions, maybe suggestive artwork. For Keath to say that they have been sexualized because of their characters is an exaggeration imo. For me it sounds like "They are MY character, so only I can choose what to do with them", but that's not how it works when you publish your project. There is always a chance that a small project becomes popular and you NEED to understand that first and THEN decide if you can handle it before publishing it.

But I think that Keath's decisions should be met with some empathy. As I said, they are still learning and growing and it is absolutely human to handle situations like these poorly. As far as I know, they do not have a marketing or social media team.

​

So, I think it is okay to acknowledge Keath's mistakes and criticize them. But let's also not forget that they're not a celebrity who knows how to handle big fandoms.
