We are in the US, both husband and I earn and contribute equally to the household expenses and mortgage.

Our inlaws just visited us for 2 months and right after them my sister and bil visited us for 1 week. Now my inlaws seem to think they have the right to ask my husband who is visiting us next. They even questioned why my sister is visiting now. They seem to think my relatives come visit us a lot, (ehich they dont) which they could if they wanted to because its my house too. My MIL will sneakily always ask my husband over calls that who is visiting us next (I am in the room when my husband takes the call, she doesn't know it that I am there)

How do I tell her next time she asks the question that its my house and whoever wants can visit from my side, they have 0 say in that. Honestly if it spoils the relationship I am fine with that as well.

We have tried Nylabone and Benebone chew toys bit I see they are not the best option for my pup. He has all his adult teeth now, as per his last vet appointment.

I keep seeing these ads about Mika and Sammy real bones. Are they safe for a 8 month pup? I hear bully sticks are also dangerous. What do I give him? He needs a chew in the mornings and before night. He has sensitive tummy.

Are your Half sleeves Mongolian cashmere tops also pilling? Has the quality just gone to shit? I bought 5 of these and they have started pilling.

Guys I am at my wits end. My inlaws are staying with me and my MIL uses this black colored oil on her hair and it absolutely stinks. It's so stinky that the guest bathroom and room is now stinking of that oil. What the hell do I do?

How do I remove the smell of that oil from the bathroom and guestroom?

This is the one huge upside to the whole ordeal I guess. I am very excited to start planning an early retirement. Anyone else thinking in this direction and any tips on how to get started? We have a 401k and Roth IRA but its limited in the sense that I cant withdraw before 60 I believe. Would love to know how are some of you thinking about this?

We have our first pet, 6 month Havanese puppy and we just put a Seresto collar on him. He has all his shots for tick, lyme, fleas etc.

We put the seresto to avoid tick getting latched to him, because we dont know how to safely remove them. He gets brushed pretty regularly but I am mortified of missing a tick since he has curly short hair.

Question-

1. can he still sleep on our bed? It is just me and my husband (no small kids, the pup is our baby lol). He is crate trained but prefers to sleep with us. Is it okay for him to sleep on the bed? Any precautions we should take?

2. We bathe him once in 3 weeks. Is that still okay? I know the collar says once in 4 weeks, he will get dirty because he goes to outdoor pup classes now.

3. I don't suppose they prevent mosquitoes right?

I have some stairs in my house where I can do a picture Gallery. My question is how do have a picture Gallery without inlaws pics? I mean I want a picture Gallery with photos of people I like and not the ones who gave me trauma. I am thinking of just doing a Gallery of my puppy's pictures.

My very good friend had 2 kids. When her first kid was born she said we only plan to have the one kid. Then after 2 years she called me and said she got pregnant accidentally and is expecting a second kid, in a way it's good because the first one will have company. Okay great!! All good!!

3 years down we were discussing changing and switching jobs for better pay and opportunity. Shes been trying for some time and last month I told her I switched and ita a better opportunity and better pay. She sighed and asked me since we are childfree what are we going to do with all that money. I was quite taken back and told her I make my money for myself and to plan an amazing retirement for myself and my spouse. We have a pup and honestly has a better life than most children. When I explained to her all the traveling and retirement plans we had she said okay yes thats good.

Why is it that people find it so hard to believe that DINKs shouldn't worry about their careers and wealth building. I literally had to give her an example like Lori Grenier to get her to realize that not everyone wants children.

Are there any safe freshener products you all use? I have stopped using much since we adopted our pup, any recommendations would be helpful

It's been 6 months we stopped fertility treatments. Do you all still go to the gynecologist? I find it pretty traumatic to even think about scheduling an appointment. I don't really need to worry about getting pregnant or birth control so I don't know why i need to go? I have painful periods that are unbearable but I manage through really strong meds.

Last winter I had similar acne on my forehead, probably worse. I was so freaking embarrassed like OH MY GOD. I had been going through fertility treatments and was on steroids so its a known side effects. But at the time I was absolutely going crazy and so ashamed. My GP gave me meds to clear it ut it was no help. I had a vacation planned with friends and I was so conscious. But i went to that vacation, had so much fun, took so many pictures and had a great time. The reason for this post is, I want to reassure people out there that, LIKE LEIGHTON, we all gotta own our imperfections and just let go of things not under our control.
