So recently I bought a Mangmi Pocket Max, but it got stolen basically right after it was delivered, which really sucked. I ended up using an Amazon gift card I had to buy a Retroid Pocket 5 last week instead.

Then someone on Reddit suggested I contact Mangmi support to see if they could help, and they ended up being absolute goats and offered to send me a replacement for free, which will be delivered next week.

Now I have both devices: the RP5 and the Pocket Max, and I genuinely can’t decide which one to keep and which one to sell.

From what I can tell, both have basically the same chipset/performance. The Pocket Max is more ergonomic, but I can’t really use the RP5 comfortably without the grip attachment, and once you add the grip, the portability/weight difference between the two becomes pretty small anyway.

So now I’m kinda torn. For people who’ve used both, which would you keep and why?

My pocket max was delivered today morning and while i was in class, some mf stole my package off my porch AAAAAAHHHH FUUUCK. I’d been saving up for so long for this why did it have to happen to me. I hate this fucking world. I have it on video when he just walked up and stole it. fml
