We NEED a snark sub for this woman.

I love Lulu but as a busty girl everything is so loose and flexible. There’s no actual support to the sports bras I’ve tried, and the straps are very long, non-adjustable, and stretch over time. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or should I look somewhere that’s not Lulu? Any advice appreciated!

I will not bring a ton of people there because I have no friends and study alone. The brutalist monstrosity that is Killam makes me wanna kill myself & it has no windows. I want a cozy little study spot where I can see snow falling in the winter.

I like the characters’ unreliable memories (Sansa with the Hound, Daenerys with the lemon trees in Braavos- still confused about that one). I also LOVE George’s use of dramatic irony. But my favourite overall is definitely free indirect discourse as it’s done with Cersei in AFFC. Masterful.

I think it’s a brilliant piece of writing, and just something about the way it’s put together is so ominous to me, in a way I find a lot of horror fiction doesn’t capture. I’d love to know anyone else’s thoughts on this.

I’d love to hear others’ opinions on this. To me it’s the fact that it’s so terse, and something about the implication of things *gathering* rather than actually attacking.

I’m a huge fan of George RR Martin as a horror author. Reading about the absolute hopelessness of the situation at the wall and the Hardhome letter actually makes my heart beat faster.

I wasn’t a fan of the prose necessarily, or of the extended sex scene footnotes, but I love the puzzle-box quality of it, and the general experimental quality.
