Do you get shoulder massages?

Im in the pre mri probable rotator cuff tear per ultrasound plus bicep always hurts going to PT phase. its not agonizing but not getting any better either.

Sometimes the PT scrapes or prods or massages my shoulder.

Is this something people also do on their own? Go to what a sports massager (masseuse)?

Is it just for comfort or therapeutic? What qualifications or type of massage?

https://www.twz.com/air/congress-questions-air-forces-combat-rescue-readiness-as-hh-60w-helicopters-get-turned-into-vip-transports

Only had time to skim but it seemed odd that the?Senate is complaining about transfers to DC for VIP transport when they are probably the VIPs?

As for increased need for CSAR because of a war with China...what?

And arent future wars increasingly going to D

drone wars

Weed wacker purchase advice, residential

Stopped by the hardware store and got a 2024 book but no substitute for experience

70f with a torn rotator cuff seeking battery operated weedwacker that can handle some, not many small/young wild raspberry canes and bracken fern along with heavier agricultural grass type.

Its my leech field with the wild rasberry thats trying to root and the heavy grass. The area isnt too large Other area with bracken fern Id like to keep trimmed in hopes it'll die someday.

Do I need one of the blade type options?

I value lightweight and good balance. Handling some in the store that seemed to be an issue, they didnt feel that easy to handle. I suspect the shaft are designed for taller people.

. No idea about straight shaft or bent but bent only seems to come in the higher end models?

I might look into Echo but Stihl dealer is more convenient.

Thank you

Do any of these injuries heal without surgery?

A month or so into PT (no surgery) and not much difference after initial improvement which was before PT.

Broken legs heal, sprains heal, things heal.

Do shoulder and bicep injuries not heal? A tear sounds like something that should heal? Ije a torn muscle will heal?

Maybe I dont understand. Ive only had a CT scan which just said possible or probable tear.

Sault Ste Marie area in July

Im in northern Micigan (northern lower peninsula) and a friend frim many years ago (that I dont know that well anymore) is coming to visit from another state. She mentioned she would like to go to Sault Ste Marie. After the locks Im not sure what else to do.

I would like to cross and explore. (We both have passports) I like nature, bird watching, any water, beaches. But she might like to see a town or local event. July 12- 15 approx. Entertaining guests stresses me out a bit so thanks for any tips.

What can I do to help support and heal

My left houlder started clicking a couple years ago. Then this past year there were more "clunks". Few months ago it started hurting on and off. Then hurting a lot. Then some burning (actually muscle pain and burning started last november but I thought that was a vaccine side effect now idk). The pain, clicking and clunking is pretty constant but bearable.

Dr thinks rotator cuff issue.

Ultrasound couldn't get looks and didnt see anything.

PT pending an appointment.

The neighbor just gave me a heating pad so tried to

Hat last night. Getting some KT tape.

Im a side sleeper and tend to wrap my arms tight around my chest - should I get a body pillow?

Is it best to keep my arm slightly away from my body? Slightly up? When sitting?

I dont think being on my phone is helping weight and position wise but not sure how to adjust

My right shoulder has started clicking. What do I do to keep it from getting worse?

Pertinent details

70f, overweight, sedentary/not fit especially winter

But

I shovel snow winter

Garden summer, like hard gardening, a little swimming

I have a bad lower back and love this shovel because otherwise I couldn't shovel. With this shovel you lift with your arm. I suspect the shovel which is making me upset. 150 inches of snow. It makes it pretty easy.

I need to be able to shovel out to my bird feeders cant use a snowblower there (the snowblower isnt exactly easy on the arms and shoulder either and yes I also have a plow guy)

Used ryobi 1900 question

I bought a used plug in Ruobi 1900 on marketplace. A little more best up looking than I expected.

Watched a video online that said compressed air need to be used when finished to protect the pump. Given the condition and tgat the guy gave me some leftover soap Im assuming he didnt do this.

I stopped on my way home and got a can.

Question

Do I run some water through and do the compressed air before I use it with soap for the first time? Or just go ahead mn whats done is done and use after a job from here on in?

Also can I use teak cleaner soap to clean my teak patio table?

I tried a couple compounding companies and it wasnt working for me, tired of trying to figure it out.

Heard about Lilly direct.

Questions

  1. With a prescription....you can buy tirz direct by paying yourself? (My insurance wont pay)

  2. Is this pure tirz? (B12 makes me breakout and I didnt want to go to vs 2.5. Can't find pure tirz in 2.5)

  3. Does the prescription have to say 2.5 vial vs the injectors. Like what do I tell the dr, if she'll write the script, to put on the script.

  4. The Dr sends it where?

  5. If I want to try low dosing ask for the vial right?

  6. My PCP has been pretty negative about helping me (69f, 225 forever, prediabetic and yes I should get a new dr but thats no guarentee either)

So if she wont write the script I might try BCBS tele dr. And if that doesn't work there is something called call on dr?

Thank you

Never had any headphones or earbuds before. I rarely listen to music. Talk radio or podcasts sometimes, inside quietly on speaker. Im a very quiet person who mostly reads.

Four years ago I put myself seriously in hock for a quiet little rural place where I could enjoy nature and its sounds. But there are a few neighbors. Great for a couple years. Then I got a new neighbor. 65 slightly deaf, insists on playing his shitty 55 year old greatest hits out loud vs ear buds or headphones while he hacks and gags on his bong all day.

I feel like I need noise canceling headphones which is depressing the shit out of me because I wont be able to hear the loons, eagles and other birds.

Are there noise cancelling headphones with adjustable sound? Or can turn off one side but not the other? So that sometimes I can hear sound but not others?

My Endura Max (I think) went to shop and has broken magnets. Low use, 4 yrs old.

Probably 200 to fix with a used housing the shop happens to have and new seals.

Looking at just replacing and wondering which model. They seem pretty similar other than battery indicators. Traxxis has steering tension, no buttons or release levers. Not sure what else

mostly Im interested in max thrust. I use this as a backup on a mini pontoon, which is 600lbs on a small lake. Use an epoch Li On 12v, 50ah.

Dont feel the need for battery indicators like on the C2

So Endura Max again?
