I really don’t know how I feel about this to be honest just judging by the artwork we have seen

New season of X-Men 97 has me even more hyped

If anyone has seen the recent episodes she gets to feature heavily in one. Made me very excited for what her potential kit could be and launch skin.

An update for the Hatz mains on the recent nerfs

So it seems the nerfs were due to revenge killing mostly. Just another thing Discord groups and megapacks have ruined about the game. Some people in this community really can’t let people enjoy anything. I don’t play Hatz a lot but I feel for those who do. I really hope these match making changes can lead to some decent buffs and reverting nerfs because of this behaviour.

Any Mantis tips? Particularly for console

I’ve had some really good games on her but at times I still struggle. I really want to get better. I’m a tank main and I’ve played with and against some Mantis players who almost ran the lobby. I’ve been inspired by them to pick her up again and commit to really getting better at this character. Any tips at all would be helpful. Whether they are ult, leaf management or vs divers. Love you guys and the work you do

What are some of your favourite skins?

I love Stegos patterned skin with the green and yellow combination. It makes the plates look like autumn leaves (Very excited for the model update when it arrives) The only Albino I have is for my Amargs. The white and gold look so majestic on all subs. In terms of paid skins for me its Mira’s Blizzard skin. But I really like Bars elegant skin (Just don’t have it. Hopefully one day)

Just because you can’t solo am Apex or Sub Apex on your 2 slot doesn’t mean they need a nerf

I was attacked by a Conc on my Amarg near Salt Flats. He gave up but then posted in chat how Amarg is now “OP” “Needed a nerf” “Skill-less”. This isn’t the first time I’ve come across this attitude. To clarify this Conc was dumb. The first time he attacked me he did it from the front and I body blocked him into a wall and hit a stomp. Afterwards he ran off then came back after healing. Eating tail attacks (I was on my way to home cave so I wasn’t in the mood to fight) as I swatted him away. I understand this is a casual game and the balancing will always be for them but I’m growing tired of the need to nerf something because a lower tier can’t 1v1 without much risk. The skill gap for a lower slot to win against a high slot should be wide. Punching up should mean actually punching up with risk. Not walking around on a Lat and thinking that Rex you see is an easy meal. There should be the element of “Should I do this” This is just my opinion. I’m curious what others think?

They’ve really got to just start canceling QP games or something at some point

Loaded into this mess as a sub. Spent most of it on support until the last of us were just held up in spawn. I think I was with the other three for a total of a minute before they quit out for trying to 1v6 over and over. I understand these games are quick match making and suppose to not matter but it gets to a point where it isn’t enjoyable. This is suppose to be the relaxing matches away from the stress of comp. Like what’s the point of the game continuing in a 3v6?

Tenacity bug?

I just saw a reel from Xotaic saying it’s bugged at the moment. The buffs feel great but now I’m wondering if this bug is also helping? When I thought about it I haven’t seen it this season. I guess enjoy it while we can!

The way trophies change depending on who is holding them is kind of hilarious

For context this is a Metri tooth that is somehow almost as big as my Amargs head.

Are her punches quicker?

Her attacks feel so much fast. Overall she feels incredible to play. All those games punching up last season now has me feeling unstoppable at times after these buffs. Best of all don’t have to even worry about Gambit. No team up needed to feel this effective. This is what she should have been to begin with

What’s people’s opinions on Albino and Mel skins?

Even though one of my first experiences in this game was being jumped by an Albino Iggy who pretended to be friendly when I was questioning then brought his mix pack over and destroyed me. I still find Albino players way less toxic than the classic black with red eyes discord packs seem to love (I guess when trying to commit evil you should look the part) I also find Albino players almost do it as a tongue in cheek kind of skin. I’ve seen so many raw chickens. Thal in particular looks like it’s been plucked when it goes pink. Obviously I can’t talk about any of that without mentioning our beloved Pyrite who unless you have a frill and horns would probably never wish any ill will on you. So what’s everyone else opinions and experiences with these skins?

If I see an Amarg nerf next patch to be more “approachable for smaller playables” I’ll lose my mind

It seems to be a running theme that larger herbivores get balance changes to be more approachable by smaller slot sizes. Such is the case with EO, Iggy and Ano after the last patch. I still love the last patch/tlcs but I really hope we don’t see this trend continue with Amarg (I’m loving it) and with the Steg TLC. Bars seems to be in an okay place even after a nerf. Smaller tier carnivores need to feel some sense of danger and should be thinking “Is this worth it” when approaching a large herbivore. I know this game isn’t exactly the most realistic but you don’t see a small pack of Hyenas in Africa taking on an elephant.

Alpha critters shouldn’t attack someone who is already engaged in combat

I’ve lost count the amount of times as a solo player I’ve been outnumbered and still doing decently well or about to escape only for an alpha critter to ruin it all. As a solo most of the time I’m the one moving, creating space, trying to get environmental advantage. So the critter always seems to lock onto me first. This is just a suggestion but it would certainly make my life easier and less stressful not having to worry about if an alpha critter was going to third party and join the megapack jumping me

How do you use your ult? And who is it best to save it for?

Hello, Frosties (I’m not sure what you refer to yourselves as so please correct me)
This season and even last has been rough on two favourites Angela and Rogue. I’ve played Emma on and off because I find her incredibly useful to counter a large percentage of the roster without having to solely rely on the DPS mains to do it. I’m at a stage where I think I’ve gotten pretty decent with her. One thing I do struggle with is ult usage. I’m fine using it aggressively. I always get a lot of picks this way but I feel like I should be saving it for defensive plays? I always save it if for example Magik is on the other team as I’m always trying to do what I can to save my support pals. I know Diamond form is a great ult cancel tool but I feel like I’m not getting the best out of this ult that I can for counters.

What is your favourite current solo playable?

Been off the game for a while. Jumped back on briefly and flew around on both Rip and Gond. Servers were both very full but I mostly just saw the same thing as usual. Massive hotspots with large apex discord groups and some actual groups (playing within slot limit). I saw some solos in some of the more dead zones but very few. I’ve read some of the more recent patch notes to catch up but wondering what people are playing solo these days and finding success with?

Dinos beam is just too much

I accept we have counters. He has CC immunity so engaging is a no go but to also have a beam that knocks me out of the air, applies slow so I struggle to reset and gives me bleed so even if I get away I still take chip damage. Not to mention the fact that bleed means he can grab you if he closes in fast enough when you have slow (which he can reapply with shield. Like I’m still doing okay and not going negative but it’s honesty just not that fun to play against. Especially because I need a dino on my team to mirror or my frontline is kind of cooked

Anyone else been grabbed by Dino when far away?

It’s been kind of frustrating that the hit box for that grab seems so big yet we still get hit with no regs. I know Wolverine has a similar issue (who I also feel bad for since it’s another tank he’s now useless against) I’ve still had some great games this season but it’s still pretty frustrating to get a clip or a drop when I could just play as dino and do the grab plus throw with ease

Why do the Devs keep overcooking characters?

Every season it feels like we go through this. One character for the season just has everything thrown into it. Gambit and Elsa are recent examples. Black Cat has a massive amount of abilities. Now we have Devil Dino. He’s been given bleed, shields, a leap that can also be a grab, a beam that slows, applies bleed and knocks you from the sky.
At least judging by the past seasons Cyclops should be balanced somewhat I guess. But we are again at a stage where a character will need to be nerfed but most likely we will end up with buffs to other characters and go down that road we did with Dare Devil and Invis. I’m worried about the sustain for this game if this is what they’ll be doing every season
