Saw this before Cannon started last night and wanted to ask
Is MeTV Comfort TV for y'all? It very much is for me. Whenever I'm grumpy, tired or overall just fully not myself, I turn on either MeTV or MeTV Toons.

I thought we could have some fun with this question so let the discussion begin. What's your MeTV affiliate?
Bonus question: Does your affiliate broadcast in HD?
If you don't wanna tell me your affiliate, hopefully I can find out if your affiliate broadcasts in HD at least.
The first must-see episode is S03E10 of The Carol Burnett Show on Wednesday, August 12 at 11pm/10c. The episode's guest star is Martha Raye and it originally aired on December 8, 1969.
Next, it's S05E01/02 of Everybody Loves Raymond on Thursday, August 13 at 9pm/8c and 9:30pm/8:30c. This is the Italy two-parter, which originally aired on October 2, 2000.
And, lastly, this month's film on House of Svengoolie is The Land Unknown on Saturday, August 15 at 8PM/7C. The film stars Jock Mahoney, Shawn Smith and William Reynolds and was originally released on October 15, 1957.
So Disney got the rights to air all the Ash seasons on Disney Channel and Disney XD and stream them on Disney+ for the U.S. and Canada (the Disney Channel and Disney XD thing means NOTHING to us, but they did get the rights for Disney+ here). All they've added so far is 27 episodes of Indigo League to Disney+ with no indication yet that they're gonna add any more. This was an opportunity for us to hopefully get rid of the mess that is legally watching the seasons and that there was finally gonna be just one place to watch them all, and Disney botched it. They're gonna add more, I know they will, but I just thought that this was gonna be an all-in-one drop and not in batches that might take quite a while.
I was approved for AISH in like February and just had my call to get benefits started today. Turns out they're gonna put me on ADAP because I apparently don't fit the new criteria. If you're wondering what the new criteria are, they're:
You have to be in pallative/end-of-life care
You're 65 or older
You have a severe developmental disability (me)
Your IQ is below 40
ADAP's meant for people who can work, but I CAN'T WORK, AND THEY'RE TRYING TO GET ME TO WORK. THESE FASCIST SONS-OF-BITCHES WANT ME DEAD.
I literally don't know what other sub I could post this in.
MeTV and H&I are doing more for the anniversary than Paramount LMAO. 💀
Wrote my Grade 12 English diploma exams (didn't have to write Social for the first semester) on June 10th and 15th. I no longer have access to the email I used to make my myPass account (no, it wasn't my school email, but I did lose access to that address) so I have no way to check myPass to see if I even graduated in the first place. But I don't have a phone, so I can't contact the Alberta Education Help Desk to try to get the address changed. I'm starting to get scared that I didn't even graduate, because the site says diplomas should be in the mail in the last week of July. Well, it's the last week of July, and still nothing. Do I have nothing to worry about or should I start shitting myself?
Yes, I know it's not for another 38 days, I don't care. I wanna celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest brands in television history and I wanna know what fellow [adult swim] fans want the network to do to celebrate the anniversary. Would love to hear what y'all have to say.
ALL KIDS OUT OF THE POOL!
Can't believe it's been 9 months and people are still pissed off about Everybody Loves Raymond being on the network. The show has found a home that respects it and that home is MeTV. There's a reason the ratings have been good and it's because the network treats it with the love and respect it deserves. Neal Sabin has made this network one of the most popular and beloved on television over the past 16 years, and if he really didn't think Everybody Loves Raymond would fit the network, he wouldn't have put it on. He created this network, and I'd trust what he thinks fits and what doesn't.
Don't know if they've aired this promo in their current run of the show, but I would hope that they have.
Sunrise Records in West Edmonton Mall has reopened after moving to a much bigger location downstairs in Phase 1 than the location they were in upstairs while they were in Phase 1.
Hey, I was just wondering if there's a Discord server about the greatest man to have ever been behind a film camera? I'd love to join one.
I'm expecting a MASSIVE improvement for the first few seasons, but more minor ones for the later seasons.
The compositions look a little too good in 16:9 for standard 4-perf 35mm using spherical lenses, which is what IMDb says the show was shot on. But I've been looking and there is too much opened up for me to actually believe that the show was shot this way. I've seen what 4:3 shows shot on 4-perf 35mm look like cropped in 16:9, like Seinfeld, and they don't look good at all. So am I crazy in thinking that the show was really shot on 3-perf Super 35 using spherical lenses?
March 20th: Announced that they're moving from their tiny-ass location upstairs in Phase 1 that they went to after getting kicked out of their original location in the mall to a location that's double the size downstairs, also in Phase 1 (it's where the vacant dollar store was)
May 19th: The move has begun, with it also being announced that it will reopen early summer.
June 8th: Update saying that they're still working on construction, but are very close to done on construction, still receiving new product every day.
We haven't really gotten a big update since the 8th, but it's clear they're working hard as an IG story was posted earlier.
Sesame Street means a lot to me, it's been with me most of my life and it's one of my favourite shows of all time. I'm sure it means a lot to quite a few of y'all too. I've been wanting to do this for a while now, but honestly just haven't had the guts to. I want to build an archive for me and fans that I know I can trust of as many episodes of the first 45 seasons of the show as I can get in as good of a logoless quality as possible. Now I'm not looking for every episode from the first 45 seasons because there are lost episodes from the 70s that simply just don't exist at all. But I know that I'm not gonna be able to do this on my own, and I'm gonna need people who will be able to help me build this archive. Message me through the chat function if you think you can help.
EDIT: Thanks to the people trying to tell me to torrent, I get that you're trying to help and I deeply appreciate it, but here's the problem. I'm an autistic 18-year-old who has no money and can't get the money to get a computer that is capable of torrenting or a seedbox.
