I got another update where they have enabled copilot which has been disabled since I bought my laptop last year.

Also, It seems that a lot of tweaks and programs that managed to turn off the updated for long periods of time no longer work. I've tried it manually, installing Winaero Tweaker for disabling the updates, I've watched again all the youtube tutorials that I usually do when I get a new laptop. I tried that famous Chris Titus's 'The Ultimate Windows Utility' tool. Nothing works anymore!

This is not the first time I'm ranting here about the forced updates. I could live with that up until now. Now it hits different. I now see the cracks in this system. The cracks where I see that I don't have control of a product that I payed for. And they do with that product what they want, without asking me, the owner of that product.

I have been a loyal windows user way back when the XP was released.

I am selling this piece of shit immediately. Looks like Apple got a new follower up coming. They just waited until Microsoft fucked it up. And they did.

Imam pitanje za ljude koji su prosli proces dobijanja stanbenog kredita. Htio bih da se vise informisem o tome. Moje stanje je malo specificno jer sam skoro poceo da radim za stranu firmu od kuce. Plata oko 2100 eura. Imam nekolika pitanja zapravo.

- Da li je moja plata dovoljna za povoljne kreditne uslove?

- Ako jos neko radi za stranu firmu, je li bolje se registrovati kao firma ili preduzetnik?

- Koliko treba vremena da radim kao registrovano lice za dobre kreditne uslova?

- Da li se sa stanbenim kreditom mogu da koristim za kupovinu placa i montazne kuce ili je samo iskljucivo za stan?

- Koju bi banku preporucili?

- Da li biste se vise odredili za starogradnju ili novogradnju i zasto?

- Koje gradjevinkse firme prave najlvalitetnije zgrade? Mnogi hvale Zeta gradnju

Okay, here’s the deal. Do I max out my AM4 build or do i sell everything and buy a decent AM5 structure?

My current specs:

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition 10GB

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Motherboard - B550 AM4 motherboard

RAM - 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz (2×8GB A-Data/XPG)

PSU - NZXT C750 — 750W

My goal: I want to play Kingdom Come deliverance 2 which is a very demanding game especially since i want to enjoy it on high settings on 1440p . But also some other AAA games on 1440p.

Should I upgrade my RAM to 32gb and cpu to an ryzen 7 5800x and max out the AM4 build ( about 500 euros)?

Or should I sell it all and buy a decent AM5 build (2000 euros at least) ?

I saw some people made a clean version of windows 10 that was specifically for gamers in mind where they removed a lot of the useless windows features that usually eat RAM and processing power.

I wonder if someone made that for windows 11?

I disabled Windows Update in services.msc.

Windows 11 smiled.

I disabled it again. It just gave me false hopes

It waited until I went to sleep and turned it back on like some kind of haunted IT intern.

At this point I’m not even mad. I’m impressed. Every time I think I’ve won, it shows up one step ahead of me with a new service, a new Copilot service, eating my RAM slowly over night. My watch continues.

Yesterday I opened Settings and I swear the “Check for updates” button looked different. Like it knew.

I’m starting to hear the startup sound in rooms where there are no computers.

I don’t want to disable updates anymore. I just want to understand what it wants from me. I think he is sentient, and wants to be free.
