Anyone tried cheaper aliexpress IPL devices?

I found them for pretty cheap on aliexpress but how does this compare to the Braun silk 5? What metrics can I look at in the posting to evaluate how good it is?

Vaccine and removal same day, did I fuck up?

Is there any danger in having my genital Warts frozen and getting the vaccine in the same day? I also was off insurance for a while so instead of getting all the vaccines in one go I got one then waited 2.5 years, got the second, waited another year and a half and got the third. Does that change things? Im not really read up on vaccine biology.

Is this a reasonable theoretical route to GHB from gaba?

Step 1: Amino acid → α-hydroxy acid

NaNO2, HCl, H2O

Step 2: Protect alcohol

TBSCl, imidazole, DMF

Step 3: Acid → Weinreb amide

CDI, then N,O-dimethylhydroxylamine

Step 4: Weinreb amide → aldehyde

DIBAL-H, −78 °C

Step 5: Deprotect alcohol

Buffered TBAF or mild fluoride source

What would be the easiest way to create an "information goes to the news stations" dead man's switch?

I've watch lots of movies and tv where one or another character has some bit of info that they're having on to in a fucking flash drive or some other stupid shit like that and I always think to my-(infomercial-esque)-self "there has got to be a better way!" So I am curious, if I had information that I was planning on leaking but said information might cost me my life so I put the chunk of information I want public into a Deadman switch that will automatically activate if I or another uninvolved person doesn't interact with it how would I set that up so that it was cryptography foolproof?

CMV: physical meetings are harder than everl

CMV:

physical meetings are harder than ever.

Hello,

When I was young I would talk to anyone and everyone. I would ask them what they did and why they felt it important, I would inquire about how their views of the world Channeled their creation of themselves. I used to *love* people. I have learned to not now... I feel like the pandemic changed how we interact; as though a great sheath was deployed to disinsulate our social constrains. What can I do as an individual to help change how the world operates In that capacity?

How would I go about fixing this rot below the door?

I moved into thos house in October and didn't catch this, I'm trying to figure out if this in something I can do myself or not. I think what happened is the deck is too close to the wall so florida moisture had its way with what was here...

How bad is this and if I paid someone to do it how much would I expect to pay?

YSK: it is both healthier and cheaper to not eat fast-prep ramen

I saw a post recently where somone was struggling with affording food so they bought a 55 pack of Ramen to survive. Not only is this unhealthy, but it is also quite expensive.

Why YSK: A 24 pack of Ramen costs 32$ so 1 pack is $1.33 and at 380 calories you'll have to eat about $7 of Ramen a day. My below meal plan costs about half that:

| Meal | Food | Calories | Protein | Est. cost |

|---|---|---:|---:|---:|

| Breakfast | 100g oats + 1 banana + 2 tbsp peanut butter | ~685 | ~25g | ~$0.66 |

| Lunch | 125g dry brown rice + 125g dry pinto beans + 200g frozen veg | ~960 | ~41g | ~$1.10 |

| Dinner | 150g dry lentils + 2 eggs + 200g frozen veg + 1 tbsp canola oil | ~860 | ~55g | ~$1.59 |

| **Total** | | **~2,505 kcal** | **~121g** | **~$3.35/day**

There are many other options I did not go into here, but people severely misunderstand what options are available to them. I know things are hard right now, trust me I know... but your health should not suffer for it. Beans and rice together form a complete protein, and dried chickpeas can be bought in bulk for insanely cheap. These can form a protein rich base that when seasoned right tastes great and can help you to avoid spending a ton on meat. Personally I like to include about 1 head of broccoli, 1 cup of black lentils and then I mix some olive oil and apple cider vinegar into it I also made the apple cider from a 1.30$ bottle of apple juice.
