Homeless population boom Lankershim/Vineland
I know this isn't new, and has been an issue since 2020, but the past year has been super bad with the homeless population by the Petco/Raising Canes on Lankershim. They all go to that NoHo Home Alliance service at the church on Camarillo.
The past year the boom in homeless here has been crazy. I don't feel safe walking in my neighborhood anymore. I've been chased, screamed at, and had items thrown at me. I find needles and waste everywhere. Citizen is constantly alerting for someone being assaulted in this area.
I want to hear your thoughts and experiences. Any suggestions on what we can do to help our community with this? I'm not about opposing assistance for those in need. Rather, I want to find a solution that protects vulnerable individuals while also ensuring that we can safely enjoy our neighborhood.
