Your Orlando Hot Takes?

Ok the hot take thread about Lake Nona gave me inspiration. What are your Orlando/surrounding area hot takes? Mine are Altamonte Springs is experiencing some kind of renaissance and I feel like between the affordability and central location, it will become a more popular suburb in the coming years.

Another one is Clermont is the only aesthetically pleasing area in or around Orlando. Everything else feels like a concrete jungle, atleast there's more nature and hills there to break up all the strip malls and restaurants.

Lindsey is Autistic?!

This makes this whole operation even more disturbing?! There are quite a few episodes where Caleb is calling autistic people r-worded and his right hand man is autistic ? So much cognitive dissonance here.

Which hairstyle is the most youthful or flattering?

I have locs currently but I'm genuinely not sure if they are the most flattering hairstyle for me? I'm considering cutting them to "maximize" my beauty, if thay makes sense. I used chat gpt to show me with an afro and straight hair which are the two styles I would go with if I were to cut my locs. I would love your opinions because I'm truly at a loss!

33, how to decrease creasing under eyebrows

Idk if I've always had this or if I've just noticed it more since hitting 30 but the hollowness? Creasing? idk how to explain it has been bothering me so much lately! Mainly in pictures which is where it is most apparent. Is there a procedure or product to stop the area from looking like that. I feel like it makes my eye area look so harsh.

What does my home say about me?

Btw, disregard the missing outlet/switchplate covers. I removed all the yellowed, dingy ones and am indecisive about what I want to replace them with, hence no covers right now ;(

What does my house say about me?

Ignore the missing outlet/switch plates btw! They were yellowed/dirty when we moved in so we removed them all and are in the process of replacing.

Hallway updates in progress

The first two are current and the last two were what we started with 6 months ago. I know hallways are "boring" and these are minor updates, but I'm proud of how less dreary it looks 🩷It's still a work in progress (mainly figuring out what switch plate covers we want and getting someone to cut back the vent to flush our wash and dryer with the wall). Any other suggestions are welcome!

Should I keep the stone fireplace or go for the faux wood look?

I really want to change the look of my fireplace because to me it looks very Flintstone-y and I want a more streamlined look. I would like to go toward a faux-wood mcm look but I'm undecided if I will regret covering up the stone down the line. Which looks better to you? BTW the fireplace is non-functional and I'm in FL so the faux-wood wouldn't be a fire hazard. Also please ignore the cat toys, I have a very playful cat.

[Landlord US-FL] Are you guys buying slide-in stoves for your properties or sticking to freestanding?

I have a sfh property that will need a stove replacement soon. Current stove is a regular, degular free standing. I'm thinking of upgrading it a bit and replacing it with a slide in stove since it will look more "modern" for future tenants. Any pros/cons in doing this? The only con I guess I have is we have a slide-in in our primary home and sometimes when I lean against it, the stove turns on by mistake. That might be a fire risk if the tenant doesn't realize the stove has turned on and they leave the house. Which would you choose? BTW it would be induction if that helps.
