Do you think we're getting an in universe explanation for why multiple characters are played by the same actor?
Just a thought based on a scene in the trailer where a bunch of Sarah Paulson's different characters were being summoned. Thought it looked pretty cool.
Obviously in-universe, the characters look different, but personally I really love when shows build upon their own established lore and mythology. If they did explore that, it'd be pretty interesting to see how they do so.
What was the point of Ravi's mental health arc?
I thought he'd be a new man, who dealt with things differently, but clearly that's not the case
I wish we had a proper long-term villain couple in the series
The only one that had an arc role was Greg and Tamara, but Tamara was soooo underdeveloped, and we didn't really known anything about her, or them as a couple, so its hard to count them. I also didn't include Gold/Evil Queen in this because that just made me sick.
I hate how the hearts used to have a more realistic look in earlier seasons, and then looked plastic in the later ones
Outside of Coven, which season would work best as a multi season show?
reddit.comMovie out in a week
For the 12 of us who haven't seen it yet, what are your watching plans? You excited?
I really hope any type of future plans for this franchise aren't taken into consideration based on the performance of the film's release.
Headcanon: Cruella inadvertently saved Lily's life
So we know that Cruella, Ursula and Lily were banished to the real world by the Apprentice. Cruella mentioned that they stole Lily's egg to keep themselves young, and left her in the woods to die. Lily as we know, ended up surviving and being placed in the foster system.
Rather than luck, I think the reason she survived was because Cruella specifically left her to die. We know the Author placed a spell on her, which prevents her from being able to kill. This spell also affects her indirectly (ie she cant use animals to kill someone), so because of Cruella's actions, Lily couldn't die, because dying indirectly at Cruella's hands would go against the spell the Author placed on her.
Just a theory, I thought of, but thought it made sense and wanted to share.
[Routine Help] Question in regards to incoporating Vitamin-C serum
I have a bunch of questions, so if anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it 🥰
So I recently purchased some Vitamin C serum (should be arriving tomorrow I believe). The weather is super hot, and I read that keeping it in the fridge helps prolonge its benefits, so I will be doing that (someone please point out if thats wrong though).
My question is this though: My current AM face routine is:
Cleanser--Azelaic Acid--Moisturiser---Sun Screen.
I wanted to ask, at which stage should I add the Vitamin C serum. I also use tret every evening, but I read, that you shouldn't mix the two/or you dont really reap the benefits in the evening, so I just wanted some clarity on that. (My PM Face Routine is:
Cleanser--Azelaic Acid--Tret---Moisturiser)
I also recently purchased some Sacylic Acid Soothing Lotion, for my hips, since I have hyper pigmentation on there. I currently use it twice a day (in the morning and evening). I wanted to ask, can I also use it on my hips with the lotion? If so, what order do they go in, and what is the best time to use it?
Unpopular Opinion: Wish Realm Hook + Robin > OG Hook + Robin
I thought their Wish Realm counterparts were infinitely more interesting than their original versions.
Hook: I actually liked him in the beginning, but his relationship with Emma took over his character, and his love for her more or less became his whole personality. It was boring, repetitive and they ruined the Dark Swan arc. I loved Wish Hook's relationship with Alice and seeing him as a dad, but his relationship with Rumple in S7 was a fantastic arc (and not really talked about that much).
Robin: The Wish Realm version had a personality. He had conflict. The original just felt like a tool to make Regina happy. I liked seeing her in a relationship, but Robin on his own was boring. Lowkey his inclusion on the show did feel like pandering, because of all the backlash they got, but I didnt hate this version.
Has anyone had a more miserable existence than Neal?
The poor guy really went through it
He:
Lived in poverty during the ogre wars
Had a neglectful mother and a father known as a coward
Mother abandoned him for a pirate
Father was consumed by dark magic and became corrupt, further isolating him
Abandoned into a new world he knows nothing about
Finds a family to take him in, only to be kidnapped by his grandfather
Held captive on Neverland for hundreds of years
Falls for Emma only to have August show up and inform him he has to give her in to the authorities and tells her he can't see her until she fulfills her destiny (I get Emma was the victim in this situation but he suffered too)
Misses out in raising his son
Falls for a woman, only for that entire relationship to be fake.
Reunites with his family, only to have his son kidnapped and the woman he loves, wishing he was dead and falling for the man who stole his mother away from him (I'd actually hate Hook if I was Neal)
Is tricked into killing himself to save his father by the Wicked Witch
As much as the other characters suffered, at least they had moments of happiness. Literally the only time I can think Neal had any kind of happiness was when he was with Emma, which had to be cut short, with Tamara (which was a fake relationship so I don't count that) and when he was in Storybrooke (which in the shows timeline was maybe a couple months at most).
This is meant to be a show about hope, but 99% of his life was misery and the writers were jerks for killing him off
Can I use AA every night in combination with tret if I also use AA in the morning?
I'm not starting off my routine or anything like that and I don't really get irritation.
Ive been using AA twice a day (once in the morning and once with my tret (0.05%) every night ) for about a week now and haven't noticed any side effects. Is there anything I should be aware of (besides the usual like moisturiser and sunscreen during day)? Does anyone else do this?
Are there any superpowered individuals within the MCU that you feel would've been better as Inhumans, as opposed to another backstories they gave?
Ms. Marvel obviously comes to mind since she was an Inhuman in the original run (I liked the show and I appreciate the fact she was the first confirmed mutant which was the original intention with her character but I feel like her power origins became kinda convoluted with both her ancestry and mutation factoring into her powers).
Any of the side characters in She Hulk or background characters in the Shang Chi fight club would've been cool too.
What are 5 things you dislike about your favourite season and what are 5 things you like about your least favourite season?
reddit.comWhy don't evil want magic exposed?
I'm just thinking about the S3 finale. Shax revealing himself and magic pretty much set the path of destruction for the charmed ones. There were practically no disadvantages the Source faced. Why do the bad guys care about the risk of exposure as much as the good guys? Demons overpower humans and can also hide in pain sight if needed. I just don't get it personally. Why would they care if humans know about their existence?
How would you have incoporated/foreshadowed the Lion Turtles and Energybending into the series, prior to the finale?
I know the introduction of the Lion Turtles is a bit of a pont of contention for some fans, due to how it came about. Whilst I think, it doesn't ruin the viewing experience for the majority of us, and we still love the finale, how would you go about hinting towards Lion Turtles and Energybending in the show, before the finale? (Personally, I dont think a statue in the intro and an image in Wan Shi Tong's library were sufficient enough foreshadowing)
Phoebe's Empathy
I hate how Phoebe went from someone with the weakest active powers to super OP when she got her empathy. I like seeing the progression, and it felt like they did way too much.
I get that powers are triggered by emotions, but it feels that it made more sense for her to block/enhance powers than channeling them (powers and emotions are completely different, just because she had control of one doesn't mean she should have it of the other).
I with rather than channeling other beings powers she developed the electric attack we saw in the future episode. I remember the comics explaining it was an enhancement I'd her emotional protection powers
