where to rent a phone for a concert

i will be attending some concerts in seoul at the end of the month. unfortunately my regular phone is being repaired and i don't think it will be done before my trip, so i'm using an older one whose camera is not the greatest.

does anyone know where i could rent a phone w a good camera for the weekend for an okay price? i want to get good videos since my seats are not super close

should i see stray kids in seoul in august or in hong kong/taipei in december?

hi! i'm having a hard time making up my mind regarding a future trip, and i would really appreciate the thoughts of fellow kpop stans.

stray kids will be starting their new tour in seoul at the end of july/early august. i had my mind set on attending the beginning of the tour, as i was expecting it to be in early autumn. when it was announced in july/august, it threw me off. for the first couple of days after the announcement i started making peace with the fact that i'm not going, and then i managed to get a ticket in presale.

since i am still second guessing the timing, i was looking into alternative dates in asia i may be able to attend, and settled on hong kong+taipei in december.

i am honestly overthinking things. i know i want to go see this tour sometime this year (and can only afford to go once atm), so I've made a list of pros and cons. If anyone has the interest to read my bullshit give me a second opinion, I'd highly appreciate it, as I clearly can't make up my mind by myself (I've been debating what to do for over a week)

Pros for Seoul: I loved Seoul + I have a ticket + I was there recently so I am pretty comfortable solo + Stray Kids are also having their comeback around the same time as the concerts so I'd catch the album release

Cons for Seoul: I was there VERY recently + I'm planning to go there next year again for sure + I have a ticket for ONLY one concert out of three I'd be there for + the weather will probably be unbearable so I feel like I'd spend a lot of money to be inside all day

Pros for HongKong/Taipei: opportunity to visit new countries + better timing + better weather + concerts have VIP packages (Seoul doesn't) + I will have a friend in Asia who may be able to join me for a weekend

Cons for HongKong/Taipei: would almost certainly be my first big solo trip in countries I've never been to + I will not be certain I can get the time off work/school until December, but it is about 75% certain at the moment I'd say

Both trips would cost around the same at the current moment, unless HongKong/Taipei flights get significantly more expensive in the next 2-3 months. Another big factor that makes me reluctant to wait for future dates is that my bias is approaching military enlistment, and I'm terrified of what happened with EXO's Kai happening with him.

is monsoon season as bad as people say?

i'm considering going to seoul end of july-beginning of august, mainly for some concerts. however, i'm a bit terrified of the weather. how bad is it in this period? does it really rain so much and aggresively as tiktok says? i'm also really sensitive to heat, the heatwave in europe last week almost took me out...
i was already in seoul in march so i really would be coming just for the concerts as they're pretty important to me and using them as an excuse to visit some more, but i'm not sure if the trip would be worth it if i'd be stuck inside because of a heatwave/rain....

second time in seoul, first time solo - where to stay?

hi! i'm gonna be in seoul end of july/beginning of august and i'm trying to decide where i would like to stay.

i was in korea for the first time with a friend last time a couple months ago, this time i will be solo. we stayed for 1.5 weeks in myeongdong and 4 nights in hongdae last time. i felt myeongdong was great to get to all the main touristy attractions, but after around 7 nights i started feeling there wasn't much to do in the evening and it was way too busy.

i liked hongdae and would've liked a couple days more there. i was thinking to stay around that area this time, and i ended up finding a very good deal on accommodation around mangwon market. i unfortunately did not make it to mangwon area last time, but the stay seems to be ~15 min by public transport/30 min by foot to the centre of hongdae. i'm not sure if this is too far out from everything else in seoul? if anyone stayed in the area, could you please share your thoughts?

staying in/around meyongdong would be very convenient when it comes to public transport, but i don't think i can handle the crowds again, especially during monsoon season heat....

ticketbay global opinions?

has anyone used the intl version of ticketbay? if yes how was your experience, did you have any issues? does it offer the same protections as the korean site?

(please don't come here saying resale in korea is illegal/impossible. it happens more than you'd think, i've attended concerts in korea)

flimsy/loose shiseido lash curler

I finally splurged on the Shiseido lash curler. I have to say, the shape fits my eye great, however it feels so incredibly loose? There is no bounce/recoil/spring when I press on my lashes and the mobile part just kind of rattles and moves, it doesn't stay in place. Is this normal for this eyelash curler or did I get a faulty one? I usually prefer lash curlers with a small spring built in so I don't need to press as hard, but the shape on this one is really good so I don't know if I want to keep it or not

doxy 1x a day?

i tested positive for ureaplasma last week and was prescribed doxycycline by the gyno, however i am confused by the treatment plan? she prescribed 2x 100mg on the first day of treatment, followed by 1x 100mg a day for the next 13 days.

i'm seeing most people online followed a treatment of 2x per day, should i be concerned by this? did anyone else follow a similar treatment plan? should i get a second opinion? i realise ideally i should've raised these concerns with her during the appointment, but i only did research online afterwards

i'm currently on the hunt for a good shampoo/conditioner for my fine, oily scalp, dry and heat damaged ends hair, naturally wavy but i straighten it.

i'm looking to buy mostly travel sizes to trial various shampoos. i am about to finish the ouai fine hair shampoo soon, and i was looking at pureology hydrate sheer next as i saw a lot of good opinions. however i can't find the trial size for sale anywhere around me.

i liked the ouai shampoo, i'd give it a 7.5/10. my hair doesnt get oily too fast, it doesn't weigh it down, but i feel like it gives it a bit of a weird feeling, i don't know how to describe it, but i'd like to try other shampoos because of this.

therefore, i was looking for some advice, is pureology good enough to be worth buying the 200ml bottle? i already have so many piled up almost full bottles in my shower 😓
