Only the US has the infrastructure for the 64-team World Cup, and the OFC should get their chance to host one for the first time, Win-Win

With the FIFA World Cup expanding to 64 teams, I believe it's time to introduce a tier 2 (World Cup Silver), tier 3 (World Cup Bronze), or even a tier 4 (World Cup Solidarity) version of the World Cup. Then rebrand the World Cup as the World Cup Elite, Thoughts ?

Since there will still be nations that cannot qualify for the 64-team World Cup, FIFA should create a tier-2 World Cup for nations that narrowly miss out (e.g., China vs Venezuela), with the winners qualifying for the next World Cup. Then a tier 3 for the lower-ranked nations (e.g. San Marino vs Bhutan). These new competitions will definitely help the smaller nations improve and, of course, bring more eyeballs and more money to be made for FIFA.
