My New Rescue Tuxie

Meet Baby. Been hanging around my house for awhile, took the plunge and Rescued the little cutie. No chip, already spayed and about 6 years old according to the Vet. Little lovebug.

Need help with a Newly Rescued Kitty-NOT a fundraiser

This cute little Tuxedo kitty has been hanging around my house for months. Took in the kitty, isolated in a kitty cage for about 4 days until I could get her to the Vet. No chip, about 8 pounds, already spayed, skinny.

Released into the house. Has spent days hanging out under a shower chair in my bedroom. Don't know if she is even leaving to get food/potty.

Put her in a back bedroom by herself about an hour ago, with 2 kinds of food, water, and a small litter pan, which she did use in the cage.

Is there anything else I can do? Kitty is friendly to me, rubs and purrs. We have 4 other resident kitties.

Thank you in advance.

Dating for Neurodiverse Plant and Gardening Nut (63M)

I was just widowed, for the second time in about 4 1/2 years. I am a 63 year old M, married 40 years the first time, 3 years the second. Just including this for a bit of background, not trying to pick up a date (For goodness sakes I am nowhere near ready).

I was just wondering, is there hope for me in the future to not be alone forever? My "issue", such as it is, is that I am on the neurodiversity spectrum with a particular interest concentration on plants (cactus and succulents in particular), exploring for cactus in habitat, and gardening. I am a member of several plant clubs, am the President of one. I would need someone who maybe wouldn't roll their eyes and sigh when I geek out about plants. My communication is just a little different than most/"quirky". I am not without many positive traits. Is finding someone who's interests match mine, that can look past my autistic quirkiness, and also someone who is not seriously disabled and I wouldn't have to bury, realistic?

Thank you all for your time, just trying to reach for some kind of hope for the future, it seems bleak right now.
