Beating the Bile-Boss - Second Playthrough
Renamed title to avoid spoilers
Some quick thoughts about the fight and the runback.
runback - pretty horrible XD its not the worst thing ever, but the runback + the gauntlet before the fight itself, with the worst enemies in the game (the circle shaped dart throwers who keep hiding in the bilepool), its can be as exhausting as it is engaging. I both love and hate fighting them, as I do get better with each attempt
The groal fight itself isn't bad at all. fun boss, although its another boss which summons minions mid-fight. Initially i was using thread storm but then switched to silk spear which seemed to fit better for the gauntlet.
Enjoy the fight!
Not dissing people who pay money for unique skins but damn these look ugly AF
Anyone else tries to memories recipes before starting settlements?
This game is insanely complex and i always aim to min-max my production lines and be as efficient as possible and also be aware of every resource i need for each chain, etc...
this makes me play and readjust stuff while on pause screen for very long sessions.
i love it, but its also getting on my nerves XD so whenever i start a new settlement i spend a good portion on my species needs and tell to myself
"so humans like porridge right? do i already know how make porridge by heart or do i need to look it up to remember?? i know there's rainwater involved, also either veggies/GRAIN!! (forgot it last time, silly me)/ roots and mushrooms! haha.. fuck no theres no roots, theres herbs!! damnit. also i completely forgot about the fishing update which happened while i stopped playing so now theres also fish uhhh"
and i do that for basically any other recipe.
"how do i make fabric?? plant fiber, reed and leather right?? NOOO its not leather its scales...
NOO its not scales either its algae?? completely forgot about it too goddamnit brain.
so basically i still play every settlement 90% of it pausing and checking things and adjusting stuff i couldnt remember from before or 5 minutes ago XD
What is fox bro thinking about?
First time I ever notice this lol.
Do I have to use royal resupply as soon as i get it or can i save it for later?
lets say im gonna do and beat the biome in between the 2 modifiers, which would reward me with 2 royal resups, can I save them for later without them being wasted if i start another run after that one?
This is QHT by the way.
Does this make sense?
There is a chance im totally clueless cus i never picked this building before but,
it says it uses clearance water, so why does it says i can put rain engine on it that uses storm water?
furthermore, i thought any building that uses farm fields cannot be plugged to rainpunk engines to begin with.
is this real or is a bug in the description?
I haven't played in about 6 months. Did the game auto-complete my keepsakes lvling + Weapon aspects?
I could swear I did not max out some of these back when I stopped playing half a year ago,
talking both some of the keepsakes and some of the weapon aspects. Now everything is max'd out fully level'd.
My memory is not 100% though so idk for sure, but did anyone else experience something similiar?
Also would love to hear what changed in all this time. I saw dream-dives is something new so that's cool. anything else? :D
+1.3% Bonus xp is insulting and should not be a thing.
Even if the charms gave 10 times the amount, lets say 13% bonus instead of the lousy 1.3, I would STILL hesitate to use it cus it makes you consider the tradeoff for more xp gain compared to faster kills and overall power.
However 1.3 is soo low so it's not even worth considering. its 100% worthless stat that I have no idea why it even exists besides diluting the pool. Not to mention its GA lol what a joke
non-ancestral uniques shouldn't be dropped on torment 12
anyone else shares this sentiment? I feel like I just devoted so much time (relatively speaking obviously) clearing an entire escalation sigil, T12 max difficulty, why do I still need to hover over non ancestral unique items at this point? cmon...
its just an extra layer of rng but one that feels especially bad cus i immediately see this and think 'its just inferior'.
It's bad enough that I have to hope for decent (useable) rolls in the affixes AND the unique affix range.
I don't want another RNG layer of 50% chance or more (probably more than that according to the screenshot i added after killing astaroth and looting) that immediately makes the item inherently worse than ancestral.
Confirmed bug - +resistance seal doesn't add resistance
tested it out of town in combat zone to be 100% accurate.
sucks that finally i found a 6 slot charm that could compete with crit damage for the purpose of survivability and it straight up doesn't work :/
This is bugged right? + resistance charm doesn't change my resistances at all
The hitbox on that skill / enemy is so janky and makes no sense
the big ass demon hand is sent RIGHT AT HIM and it still deals no dmg.
however it does connect with atleast one arm if I change the course of my attack slightly to the side of the target. how does make any sense?
Do these aspect add to the same damage 'bucket' or do they affect different buckets for overall dmg calculation?
I assume (but dont really know) that 'damage', like the added damage from conceited aspect is not the same as 'skill damage' such as from Edgemaster's aspect.
If I wanna make my character as strong as possible I should invest into as many different dmg buckets as possible right? So I figure since I have mostly normal additive dmg from paragon nodes and equipment, the right call would be to add more to the 'skill damage' bucket by choosing edgemasters aspect over conceited aspect? (lets say i have barrier all the time)
also the demonic aspect - the wording confuses me. does it have to my additive damage or skill damage?
How does this glyph function?
Sorry for another unrelated, nooby question hehe
My build basically uses shit-ton of wrath so im tempted to use this, but i need to know if the dmg bonus and bonus wrath regen caps at 10% dmg and 25% regen or do I get multiples of this as long as i spend 50 wrath on multiple iterations within those 3 seconds.
Edit: i just tested on the target dummy so it seems like a 1 iteration effect that doesn't stack.
In general, is there a way to know if a glyph effect self caps or continues as long as you activate the parameters? assuming the item description doesn't outright tell you - such as the case with this particular glyph for instance
Noob question about critical strike
if my skill hits 20 enemies, does it roll a chance to critically strike for each individual enemy or for all of them together?
like lets say my crit chance is 70% and my skill hits 20 enemies. does it have 70% chance to critically strike all enemies (at once) or does it have 70% chance against 1 of them, then it rolls a 70% chance again for the second one and so on?
Please help me understand what's so good about sigil of chaos or sigils in general
Basically im trying to experiment / learn about tyrant's grasp build, and a guide i came across highly suggested to use sigil of chaos skill in the arsenal.
I'm trying my hardest to understand what's so good about it and I can't fathom it.
- Sigil skills require the player to stand in place (atleast inside the sigil's circle), isn't it counterintuitive to the general playstyle of moving constantly, especially when you're doing a dungeon or literally any activity that requiers you moving FORWARD and not stay the same place?
I know there is a paragon legendary affix that boosts damage after you use a sigil skill, and also a really nice looking charm set for sigil skills, but these are supposed to be complementary to an ALREADY established or powerful skill on its own. it seems to my like the skill in itself is shit, but all the extra bonuses that are separated from the skill itself is what make it even good, so it's weird to me.
- I don't get unique affixes that say "Increase sigil damage" ??
Sigil of chaos doesn't "deal damage" so wth do you mean it increases damage?
*added second screenshot of an item that increases sigil of chaos damage - does it mean the explosion damage? cus there literally isn't any other damage on that skill itself to refer to.
Is it weird wording on the devs part? I find it way too confusing, admitedly I haven't tried the skill myself, but just reading about it make me not wanna be bothered.
BTW I see the last modifier on the sigil of chaos skill lets move around with you, which is excellent imo, but then it has 25 sec cooldown which is bad, and btw the guide even suggested to go for the other modifier that has effectively thorns damage, which again seems useless to me since I wanna keep moving and not stand in place.
The only thing the sigil has going for it seems is the constant volatility - but I already play metamorphosis so I have volatility essentially 90% of the time already.
would love to hear opinions on what makes the skill good, assuming other people are using it or a guide that suggested it. thanks!
Looking for birthday gift ideas for my partner of nearly 5 years
Hey ya'll!
So basically im clueless on how to arrange or just think about appropriate birthday presents.
I know I want it to be special and memorable and that it tells him I love him.
btw we are both 32 year olds and been together for nearly 5 years.
Both gamers, both play diablo so I figured a diablo themed gift could be cool! but nothing i looked up really grabbed my attention.
would love to hear some ideas for a suitable birthday gift, whether its gaming related or not.
Some more stuff he's into: He's vegan, gamer, into fitness/workout.
Any idea is highly appreciated ❤️
I don't understand rune crafting
Again I'm sorry this is specificly warlock related. but this post won't be approved on the main D4 sub :(
Relatively new-ish / returning player here.
I accumulated a lot of runes so far in my gameplay but this is the first time i used the jewler to create a rune - I used 3 YUL runes to get a random one, and it says it has 5 affixes on it on the item description shown on the picture, right?
First question is, wth are those 5 affixes cus I see them nowhere on any of my existing legendary runes.
Also, after I crafted the random rune out of the 3 YUL runes, I got no notification on what is the new rune I just got. I assume it added +1 to one of my existing ones.
So first off, gg blizzard the UI here is terrible.
And second, I still don't understand what those '5 affixes' mean.
Does it mean there are 5 options in total in the pool to get runes from?
If that's the case, why does it have to be so vague and difficult to understand?
Am I missing something entirely? Help appreciated
