Am looking to lease an EV9 and see that the light long range is a bit better in pricing. I like the extra miles you get but the additional horsepower in the Wind is soemthing I may miss.
What made you choose the long range over the wind?
Looking to lease an Optiq since my Volvo will probably be totalled and with no costco incentive makes it tough to go back.
Here in NC I see dealer sites quoting $1500 above msrp (after adding their options) but on leasehackr I see folks getting nice discounts off msrp before incentives.
What discounts did you get or are seeing?
Seems like in every post there is at least 1 AI bot replying back when asked to rate deals. The worst part for me is that its brokers posting the slop. You guys are supposed to be the ones we come to for real world advice. End of rant.
Was rear ended and because its a lease I have to use a certified volvo shop. They tell me that the initial report from insurance has repair for the rear body panel but volvo only allows replacement. As explained to me it makes sense. My question is what now? Can insurance say that they will only pay for repair and I am out of pocket for the rest? Car hasn't been put on lift so no idea on structural damage yet but at this point I am hoping it becomes a total loss.
Playing call of duty and today this message started popping up. Either going into armory and unselecting and selecting game pad fixes it or a hard reset. Anyone else getting this?

I am in a car that is registered in NYS and has an expired inspection (over 3 months). I am nowhere near NY and have no plans on going there so won't get a ticket (I assume) but should I swap the car out or just let it be?
Anyone here rented from Hertz on Capital Blvd? The reviews on google are not so great but all other rental companies have crappy reviews too. Need to rent a car for a few days and am hoping to not have a crappy experience.
Statefarm is paying for rental but I cant pick up from airport according to them because of different pricing. There are 2 local hertz in my area and when I called today (reservation is for tomorrow) they both told me they have a couple of small suvs. Reservation is for standard suv though since the car being repaired is a standard suv. My idea was to pick up whatever they give us and swap at airport which has a much larger selection and possibly upgrade as well. I've done this before with Avis but does Hertz allow this?
Can anyone tell me what trims Hertz has for the Kia Sportage? Looking to see if they have the synthetic leather type interior or just standard cloth.
Has an issue with a rental that I need to swap out. For the past couple of days have been on a wild goose chase trying to get an suv since that was the original rental and when I went to bring back the original car which had a CEL there no suvs so was given a sedan for the weekend. Went to orignal location - nothing. Sent me to airport location - nothing. Sent me to another location - yes - they have one. About to get it written up and then manager comes over and says it was taken already by someone else and that they cannot help me. Called customer service to complain - they gave me a ticket number, told me they will upgrade me because of this and to go to another location for the vehicle swap. Went there and that location says they won't help me and that I need to go back where I started. I told the counter person I have a ticket number and was told there was a vehicle available for me but that person says he has no ticket number and sorry - can't help you. Called customer service back again and have them the ticket number and apparently the ticket number I was given was not valid. Was told that a regional manager would call me to help out and they were sorry and blah blah blah. I am not holding my breath on a regional manager calling me.
So - are the ticket numbers the csr's give out just bullshit to get people off the phone? Am I right in saying chances in a regional manager calling me are close to nil?
Had a user call me up needing some help while he is out of country with his Outlook. I proceeded to do a screen share and asked user to put in their M365 password. They told me they did not know it and they left their notebook with their passwords in their hotel room. At this point I was speechless. I don't know what bothers me more - the fact that he had passwords in a notebook in his hotel room or the fact that he was stupid enough to tell me this. End of rant.
The insurance company says we are allotted $49 per day on a rental. They are contracted with enterprise so we are $0.00 out of pocket. If we want to upgrade from a standard suv to a full size suv are we able to do that and pay the difference?
Wife was in a car accident and insurance company got us a rental. Our crashed vehicle is an suv but there were no more suvs left so they gave us a sedan until Monday so we swap it then. Rental is under my wife's name but I will be the one swapping on Monday. Will this be an issue? Also, my wife uses her maiden name so our last names don't match but addresses do.

We declined because we have a 4 year old and car seat and that will just not work. In the end they put us in a sedan until Monday when returns come in. I thought there were rules though where for insurance rentals they are not allowed to offer specialty cars. Am I mistaken on that?
Was rear ended last week in a leased Volvo. My lease agreement states that I must use a Volvo certified shop and none of the state farm approved shops qualify. State Farm had me take photos using their app which I submitted in Wednesday. How long before they get back with an estimate that I can give to the Volvo shop so they can get my car and do their updated estimate?
I was rear ended over the weekend and the other driver has State Farm. State Farm has accepted liability and gave me their list of preferred vendors but I cannot use any of them because none are Volvo certified and the car is a lease. State Farm did confirm I am able to select the shop that is not on their list.
I contacted a certified volvo body shop and they told me that State Farm needs to first provide an estimate on repairs, send that to me and I in turn send to them. Does that sound correct? Would State Farm give an estimate just using photo's? Or do they need to send an agent to where the vehicle is to inspect? The car is not drivable btw.
Had a weird interaction today with a State Farm customer service rep in a claim and he sounded very robotic - almost like it was AI talking and not a real person.
Is State Farm using AI to talk to people now?
Anyone else have an issue where you still get prompted to Accept ns_runCustomSuiteQL even though you set it to Allow All? I have a dashboard I am trying to run in Claude but for every page it loads (ie. 500 rows of data) it asks to accept that connector tool. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a live artifact.
