Incoming freshman and already took Spanish 1 in MS. Do you recommend switching now and taking a different WL?

No official answer, but the waitpool moves approximately every 3 weeks. Both the student and their adult will get an email. You can also check the portal.

I am helping my parents plan a trip from Akureyri to Vik in summer 2027. How many should I budget to do it in a leisurely fashion? They’ll stay in hotels and drive, no camping, won’t so any long hikes. No need to count Akureyri or air travel from Rejkavik since they’ll be doing that as part of group trip.

Teen has started experimenting with perfumes and sprays and now the room reeks of stale smells that are a mixture of coconut, vanilla, lavender, you name it 😳 I am laundering the sheets and running the air purifier but it still smells. Which hotels have the shortest commute in the morning to Von Braun center? I see hotels that are 5 miles away but Google estimates 18-30 mins in traffic. I am visiting from out of town.

If schools are not a consideration, what is a good place for a 50 something couple to buy? Jobs in the Pentagon city area. Metro preferred but will drive in a pinch. Moving from NYC so used to smaller house but would like to have access to green space. They would share the house with college-aged kid so something that is not a studio apartment.

I left gov slightly before the VERA/VSP times because of a move and there was no option to work remote. I was a direct hire at that time and reached career conditional status.
