Quit looking at me.

Baby Bluebird working on his mean face.
In Atlanta, on the front porch and in backyard. I wonder if the same brother is looking at me in both of these photos!
We leave our tomatoes out on the counter. The other morning, we found these marks and one hole on our tomatoes. I was SURE they were from a mouse/rat so I left out some new ones and a camera for 2 nights with no bites. (pun intended)
My husband seems to think the tomatoes did this on their own. How!??
(Last photo is the only natural blemish)
Found this guy just above my bird feeder, ready for his own meal!
A friend suggested I look into breathing techniques, stretches and self massages for some symptom relief and possibly increased motility. I am also interested in acupuncture or other 'alternative' medicine.
Don't worry, I'm not looking to replace my doctors etc, just looking for something to supplement.
Has anyone tried any of these things out?
I was diagnosed about 6 weeks ago. I've been following a strict diet with only a handful of options, so I can get a baseline and start adding some foods in slowly to determine my 'safe foods.'
The first issue, of course, is that while I've seen some improvement in severity, I'm still having most of the same issues as before. So I'm not sure how to get a total baseline. Any advice here is appreciated.
The second issue is that I don't know how to tell what food is causing me trouble. I asked a while back how people figure out their safe (or really unsafe) foods. Most of the answers were about not being able to keep it down. How do you tell if it doesn't make you sick? When I get super nauseated and/or dry heave-y, does that mean the food I ate an hour before is to blame? Or the day before!?
Does anyone who has been at this longer have any insight?
Not sure if it matters, but my GES showed 50% food remained at 4 hours.
I often see comments that the author indicates what edited and why. What is the point of saying that you edited the grammar in your comment? Or had a typo? or whatever?
Just wondering.
Does anyone know a real estate attorney in Atlanta who I can talk to about the issues we are having with the Board, Property Manager, and HOA? We are having issues that are making it impossible to sell. Thanks!
I've been told to take MiraLax once/day. For those of you who do the same, do you skip days if your stool becomes soft?
Background - the only GI thing I have going on (that I know of) is GP, diagnosed maybe 6 weeks ago with GES finding of 50% at 4 hours. Symptom-wise, I'm not severe. I haven't thrown up, and only recently have begun occasionally having the dry heaves. Basically, I'm nauseated all the time.
When my symptoms started
18ish months ago, they pretty much started around noon and got progressively
worse as the day went on. I'm still having this phenomenon, but it's more that
my morning nausea isn't so bad, and as the day progresses it gets worse, with
abdominal pain and gas the worst at night.
The other thing is that
my nausea is much worse when I get up and move around. I’ll be at my desk, feeling slightly nauseated but ok. I’ll get up to go feed the dogs and I’m hit by major nausea. I guess the good thing is that I can feel better if I sit/lay down for a little while. But it’s awful, because it means I can sit around on my phone or watching tv and letting my brain rot and I’ll feel ok, but if I want to take a walk with my husband and dogs, I’m not up for it.
Does this happen to any of you?
Are there any flavored waters or electrolyte drinks that are sugar-free or low sugar but that also DON'T have stevia or artificial sweeteners?
I used to have a few Spindrifts a day, but have decided to stop carbonated drinks - at least for the time being. Spindrift is flavored with real fruit, but nothing else - no added sugar or sweetener. I can't seem to find anything similar without carbonation.
Thanks!
