Siblings name is Oksana. My husband said I got my Russian name, now he wants a Jewish one. Open to Israeli as he’s Israeli.

We keep looking at homes in Olathe that are actually affordable and when we check the crime rate they are all clustered in the same neighborhoods. What gives?

We both really want something Israeli or Russian. I really like Anastasia as that was my great grandma’s name but he nixed it. I also liked Vasilisa but I can see how that would be hard for people in the US to pronounce. At this point, we settled on an Israeli name because he said our first daughter got a Russian name.

I saw someone post for a boy and we are having a girl!

We unfortunately got a new upstairs neighbor and he is really just a piece of garbage. He blasts his music till 3 am. We can hear it from upstairs which means it must be so loud. Then he also plays it at 6 am. This asshole doesn’t sleep.

On top of that he leaves his crap everywhere including glass all over the complex.

The worst is the smell of weed. Our apartment REEKS of weed now. I am worried because we have a four year old and I am pregnant.

All of these things combined, he really is such a shitty person and we don’t know what to do.

We had a neighbor in the past who blasted his music nightly as well at 3 am and his wall connected to our kiddos but thankfully he moved away) but now my husband and I are suffering because his bedroom is above us. They sent a few letters but nothing changed. Now I realize this time around I need to take matters into my own hands.

I am not sleeping and I need sleep for a healthy pregnancy. I also don’t want my child or I breathing in weed.

How would you handle this? We want this asshole gone. Our other neighbors hate him as well, especially the older lady next to us.

Every day my four year old takes AN HOUR AND A HALF to go to bed and it’s really started to get to me. I have tried changing bed times, trying to get her to sleep alone, adjusting night lights, giving plushies, nothing works. She refuses to sleep without me and even then it takes forever.

I am so beyond fucking exhausted and frustrated. I get home from work at 4:30, make dinner with her, play with her till 8:30, give her a bath, and then start trying to put her to sleep. She WILL NOT fall asleep until 10:30 no matter how hard I try or how early I wake her up. I tried pushing bed time earlier. Nope. She just fucking lays there for hours rolling around. I am so fucking tired I don’t know what to do anymore. I can’t catch up on sleep and I have zero time for myself. I feel like every day I am just going through the motions and it’s really taking a toll on me mentally and physically. I’m so fucking tired and depressed. I want to enjoy bedtime with her, not feel like I am in a war zone every day. I am fucking terrified how this will plan out once the baby is here too. I won’t have 1.5 hours to dedicate to laying with her.

Anyone got anything else I can try?

It is huge. What gives? This is my second child and with her I believe I started showing around 16ish weeks. Anyone else’s stomach this big? I haven’t really gained weight during this pregnancy other than 5 pounds so I know it’s not fat. It looks the same in the morning and at night.

I’m kind of in a bad place right now because I do have a job I enjoy, but I’m pregnant so unfortunately due to weight restrictions I cannot keep it. I worked in the school systems before this job and I can’t really go back to that because I’m due November and school starts in August, so if I apply that doesn’t look great either.

Are there any websites that people use that are actually legitimate?

I am 11 weeks and peeing like every hour. Whenever I go it feels like my bladder is full like within 30 minutes to an hour or so. Every time I go, there is more and more urine.

Anyone else experiencing this? I’m wondering if this is linked to normal pregnancy or maybe gestational diabetes. My doctor hasn’t replied yet 😔

My cousin is getting married this month and from the beginning I was told that no kids are allowed I was a little bit upset because I do have a four-year-old who would’ve loved to attend the wedding then I come to find out today that my cousin is inviting a bunch of other little kids and he pretty much just excluded. my daughter now I understand that he doesn’t want my brother and his kids to come because he’s dating a girl with five kids. However, my daughter is actually family and she is not allowed to come this prompts me to not go to his wedding and just send a gift. Why should I come to the wedding of someone who exclusively decided to keep my daughter out of his wedding? I will also add that my child is extremely shy and quiet and we have been to multiple weddings together and she can sit still and not make a peep. Should I message my cousin and tell him that I’m very annoyed? Or should I just let it go and not attend the wedding?
