Retatrutide Efficacy ( Weekly injection vs split dosing )

I have been reading certain research saying the efficacy of Glucagon receptor of retatrutide is based on Peaks, unlike the GLP and GIP receptor which depend on concentration and saturation.

Let's say a person decided to take 5mg retatrutide weekly.

Scenario 1: 5mg taken on Monday as a single shot but it leads to a little GI upset.

Scenario 2: Split dosing, 3mg on Monday, 2mg on Friday.
No side effects felt at all.

Main question is, will the split dosing reduce the overall efficacy of the peptide? Moreover, is it actually true that glucagon effects are most pronounced if taken as a single high dose?

No weight loss on the scale despite ~900–1,000 kcal deficit, high protein, training, and Retatrutide/HGH. Looking for insights.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some opinions because I’m utterly confused by what I’m seeing.
Stats:
Male, 22 years old
175 cm
86 kg
Lift weights 5x/week
Around 10,000 steps every day

Diet:
I’ve been consistently eating around 2,200 kcal/day. My macros are roughly:
Protein: ~225 g
Carbs: ~210 g
Fat: ~55 g
I track everything carefully because most of my meals come from a fitness meal service with listed nutrition.
Based on chat GPT, claude and my activity level, my maintenance should be somewhere around 3,100–3,200 kcal/day, which would put me in roughly a 900–1,000 kcal daily deficit.

Current protocol:
Retatrutide: 4 mg/week
HGH: 4 IU daily (started about 1 month ago)
Despite all of this, my body weight has basically stayed at 86 kg. I’ll occasionally fluctuate up or down by a few hundred grams, but there’s been no meaningful drop on the scale.
I know HGH can cause water retention, and I’ve also read that GLP-1/GIP/glucagon agonists can affect hydration and glycogen, so I’m wondering if that’s masking fat loss.

My questions are:
Has anyone experienced the scale staying the same for several weeks despite being in what seemed like a genuine calorie deficit?
Could HGH-related water retention realistically offset visible scale loss for a month?
Is 4 mg of Retatrutide simply too low for significant weight loss, or should appetite reduction alone still produce noticeable results if calories are actually controlled?
Any insights, personal experiences, or evidence-based explanations?

I have access to pharma grade HGH and reta with batch specific COA.

AMBIEN side effect management

Hii, I am 22 year old extremely active male who leads an athletic lifestyle and follows a very clean diet. There was a time in my life when sleep was "easy".

It all started 3 years back, started having trouble sleeping fast, I did get sleepy but couldn't fall asleep, im sure many of you feel the same. It kept progressing to a point where I was up the whole night , just tossing and turning and used to fall asleep the next day out of pure exhaustion. I couldn't fall asleep for 2 days straight, thats when I went to a psychiatrist.

He gave me paroxetine(SSRI) , melatonin and clonazepam ( as SOS ). It worked well for 2 years and then stopped working. Went back to the psychiatrist, he added clonid, didnt work.

Changed my psychiatrist, the new one gave me Ambien ( zolpidem 10mg ) and reduced paroxetine dose by 12.5mg. Sleep has resumed but next day groginess and drowsiness is insane. I take an hour almost in the morning to regain functionality. Any solutions or opinions on dealing with the sides of Ambien ( zolpidem ), open to try new medications as well.

HGH Guide

Subject is 22, M, on a body recomp.
Lifts 5 times a week and cardio twice.
Diet- 10/10

Already tried Tesamorelin 2mg for 1 month without any side effects like carpal tunnel or water retention, however the positives were also not much.

Subject has decided to switch to HGH ( 4iu ) for 3 months and is also on reta, to preserve muscle on the cut and aid in fat loss and recovery. How is 4iu as a starting dose , if so what is better taken in the morning fasted, or split 2iu am and pm? Also is the dose appropriate or should it be lower or higher?

Does the Glucagon receptor of Reta only get activated at higher doses?

I have been seeing a lot of influencers post online stating that to activate the glucagon pathway of reta, you need a minimum 4mg dose, is there any truth or science behind this?

Need some honest advice

Really been training hard and eating well in a deficit. However, as a natural the fat loss is obviously slow and my gains have completely stalled. I have trained for 3 years regularly. Tried cjc plus ipa but that fucked my sleep up ( I already take meds for insomnia) and just increased hunger.

Was advised by my fitness coach to take hgh , but im worried about insulin resistance and pituitary shutting down. Cost is not a problem, just need to know which will help me lose the maximum amount of fat and gain slight muscle ( I know GH dosent really increase muscle mass much )

Hey fam, I just took the 4th shot of Mounjaro ( 2.5mg tirz ) and felt almost no side effects this time. No nausea or diorrhea. However, when I took my 1st shot I had intense diorrhea, nausea and bloating ( common ig ) .

Now instead of following standard protocol and going for 5mg tirz and suffering the same immense sides I did before, im planning to switch to reta.

Needed help guessing an equivalent dosage of 2.5mg tirz in terms of reta. The main reason for switching to reta under similar dosage is so that my appetite dosent supress any further and Im able to eat enough protein , I lift 6 times a week and eat 180gms of protein a day. Want to lose more fat, keeping the appetite same.

Need honest and accurate opinion ( evidence based hopefully) about how these peptides taken together compare vs HGH. Please include the following in the comparison:

Muscle Gain

Fat loss

Side effects

Cost

Why are GH releasing peptides ruining my sleep instead of fixing it?

I started taking cjc plus ipamorelin, fasted in the morning , about 200mcg each. For reference, I already suffer from Insomnia and take doctor prescribed paroxetine , clonazepam ( sos ) and melatonin for sleep. I started taking peptides a week back, ever since then I have been unable to sleep well again and seems like my insomnia is back. Does anyone think its placebo or is the GH release doing something?
