2fa confirmation not letting me use my own email???
i'm trying to add 2fa after manually deleting some compromised tweets and their SEVERAL replies i "made" earlier today to lock down my account but it wants me to add an email address
so then i enter my own email and it says IT'S ALREADY TAKEN??????
like it doesn't make ANY sense; i set that email to my account years ago and now it won't let me use it to set up 2fa????????
this has cost me like maybe at least 2 or 3 hardcore attempts on 1.5.2
some jackass is trying to community note the post about helena as a scam
today is the last and final day ever that we get to play piranha plant pipeline officially so i'm making the most out of it
[USA-GA] [H] paypal [W] toshiba satellite 2805 s402
i've been looking for one of these but i can't seem to find anything on ebay or facebook marketplace aside from a poster ad; just dm me if you have one
asking price: anywhere between $100-250
little shower thought i had just now: apparently pitfall: the big adventure is just a port of pitfall: the lost expedition with motion controls, which technically makes it a new play control game despite not being part of the official new play control lineup
had a dream where nintendo rereleased the cdi zelda games on switch 2 but they were rated ao for some reason
how long does it take for the nonverified tweet limit to reset?
like is there a certain time in the day that it resets? or does it reset after a certain period of time since the first/last tweet made?
so far i've only hit my limit once around 11pm and it didn't reset until sometime between 1-4pm the next day
til there was a lego batman board game that was originally supposed to be phineas and ferb themed
there's even instructions for it available online
microfigure designs?
so i'm recreating some of the older lego board games in studio for a personal project, but i can't seem to find any of the design decals for microfigures
are they even available as custom decals in stud.io? how would i apply them?
recording 2k26 on obs???
so i'm trying to record 2k26 gameplay from the pc version but obs doesn't seem to play nice with the game window
whenever i select it as a window capture it just shows a blank white screen where the gameplay should be
i've tried running obs as an admin, setting the gpu priority to power saving, and nothing seems to work
had the best coincidence of my life after getting 1st on last week's ranked cup
best high-end gaming laptop (circa 2008)?
so i've recently gotten into collecting older laptops and using them for retro gaming, but the games i install on them really depend on their overall specs
so far i have:
- dell inspiron 9100 (dualbooted with windows 98 and xp for games up to the mid-2000s; though i have tested some later games in a virtual machine to see if they run well on the inspiron's specs)
- ibook g3 clamshell (for early ppc mac games)
- antimony tibook (for later ppc mac games)
but for games that can't work with the inspiron's specs, typically games that require a minimum of 128-256mb+ vram (so like halo 2, 007 blood stone, or basically anything that released around 2007-13) as the inspiron's gpu has 64mb, i've decided to see about getting a laptop from sometime around the late 2000s for those games, particularly something from around 2008
one idea i had was the toshiba qosmio x300, but those are super hard to find; an ebay search only returned some random parts, and listings i could find for the actual laptop itself or something adjacent go for exorbitant prices, though that's probably because of how rare it is
and i don't know if this sub is interested in requests for ancient laptops but i guess it's worth a shot here
noticing a distinct spike in jim carrey-related activity on schaff's letterboxd....could the ranking be coming soon???
mac os 9.2.2 on 867mhz tibook
so i've been setting up my 867mhz tibook to quadboot into os x 10.2-10.4 as well as os 9, the latter of which it apparently can run natively but seems to have some issues
i tried burning several different versions of 9.2.2, including both universal cds and the powerbook cd from winworld, but neither of them seemed to work, as when i booted into the cd itself to install it gave me an error saying i couldn't run the installer, but i was able to run it just fine on os x via the classic environment
then i figured out how to boot it into the os 9 partition by setting it as the startup disk....but as seen in the picture i seem to only have 640x480 with 256 colors, and there's no display settings anywhere in the control panel
160gb drive on xp laptop?
so i bought a dell inspiron 9100 after watching lgr's video about it and also got a 160gb ide hard drive some time recently, which for some reason only registered as 137gb when i installed it; apparently that's normal for the inspiron 9100, but apparently upgrading to the latest bios adds 48-bit lba support, allowing it to read larger drives....but when i did that the drive still read as 137gb
but i think i may have read somewhere that it might be possible to get the xp install itself to read the rest of the drive space, though i'm a little confused on how to do that
but let's say i also configured the drive for a dualboot, with around maybe 50-60gb of the drive dedicated to say windows 98 (because yes that is in fact possible; i actually did it myself) and the remaining 100 or so gb dedicated to xp
how would i go about doing this in either of those scenarios?
