Todd & Sara

I wonder, just what’s going on in Todd’s head.
22 years after he lost Billy & came out all in the same breath, now he’s dealing with Sara again after she’s murdered his husband.

What do you think is going on in his head psychologically? Is Sara just bad juju for him?

Florida vacations?

What is it specifically with Florida/Disney World that children on Corrie went to go to?

Gary and Maria were going to take the kids & I remember when Cilla won the lawsuit at the Kabin with Norris & Rita that she was going to take Ches to Disney World.

Is it just something the writers have to stick with?

Evelyn & her daughter

Did I miss something or has Cassie not interacted with her mum Evelyn much since coming back to Ty’s life? That would be an interesting dynamic.

Kirk’s first appearance as the Kirk we know him today. Not the Kirk/Tyrone/Fiz love triangle Kirk, but the funny, unserious & kind of thick Kirk Sutherland.🤣

Jodie & the end

Is this is how it’s gonna finally end with Jodie? Is she gonna kidnap Harper and get arrested, thus finally ending her painful existence on the show. Please tell me that’s it. I’m beyond sick of the cow.

Mid 2000’s Corrie & my favourite character.

So, watching old Corrie from ‘03-‘04, I have a new favourite character. Fred Elliott.

Even to this day, my favourite living character is Roy. Despite the fact that he (as well as Hayley) was a bit of a prick back then, I understand why they were that way. (And so did Carla). Carla was the cause and reason for Roy & Hayley’s personality changes at the time, I get it. Nevertheless.

One of my favourite dead characters is Fred Elliott. I was never a fan of Foghorn Leghorn but for some reason, I’m chuffed whenever Fred is on screen. Maybe it’s his accent, maybe it’s his repetitive speaking, but whatever it is, I love it. Ashley, on the other hand, I can’t stand. He’s like what Jodie is in 2026. Skippable. Not just his voice, but his relationships with his dad & with Claire. Meh.

Rebuttal about Dylan & Betsy.

So. My previous opinion was that Dylan did nothing wrong to Betsy & it was an accident. I was half wrong. According to the UK (and, since I’m from there, Canadian) law, even consensual choking during intercourse is a crime & punishable for up to 10 years in prison regardless of wether either part was injured in the action thereof. So technically, Dylan is a criminal. My opinion is that he shouldn’t be.

I in NO WAY condone violence against women but, in my opinion, we should treat choking during sex the way we treat urine or foot fetishes; it’s none of our business what people do in private. While I understand that choking can be dangerous, especially for immature 16 year olds, I also understand that if both parties consent to it, you expect them to be old enough to understand the risks. Betsy isn’t stupid & I don’t believe Dylan is either. Their parents sure aren’t. This was an accident & I don’t think it should be a crime, but I’m not a lawmaker. What do I know?

Sam & his diagnosis

So in Canada we just got to the episode where Sam gets caught in a manic state & comforted by Carla in the alley. I got emotional when it all panned out with his dad, David & Toyah & Leanne (especially Toyah the grief counsellor who, I figure, has probably dealt with similar situations before but not with her own family).

Until she mentioned it in passing, I had forgotten the storyline where Carla was in a vegetative state after Rana died & she was blamed. Maybe that’s what made me emotional. Maybe it was feeling bad for innocent Roy Cropper. Whatever it was, I had a few tears in my eyes when Nick comforted Sam. I felt so bad for them. Anyone else?

PS this whole thing makes me hate Megan 15,000x more. She’s not the main cause, but she had a hand in messing with Sam’s mental state. Bit**.

Anyone else hoping for the dragon to be axed?

Anyone else kinda hoping they’ll lose, not for losing sake, but so they get 1 day closer to axing the dragon idea.🤣 Unless they replace it with

Rewatching Home Improvement in order & this episode was on.

Just a coinkydink. But Alan is the reason I love music. He’s the top of the world. And the first musician whose music I fell in love with. I wish him well in retirement.

Megan’s parents

Where are they? I sure would love to know what they think of their daughter being a nonce. It just came to me that we saw Will’s mum finally show up, but nothing about Megan’s.
