Just finished up my largest piece yet, I’m calling this one “The Lute”. Very proud of how it turned out!

I made this piece “The Lute” (the loot) as a sort of companion piece to “The Lyre” (the liar). Once again mounted in a Ludwig bass drum, but this one is 28” instead of 26”. It was a really fun project to design and create, I hope you all dig! I have lots more photos of the build process, let me know if anyone is interested!

St George and the Dragon, ca. 1520 in the V&A East Storehouse. St George wears around his neck what appears to be unique to this roundel, the badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece. Behind, on the right, Princess Sabra (Cleodolinda) kneels in prayer with a lamb beside her.
