Saw 3 new fruits (new to me) at a feria (farmer’s market) in Costa Rica recently - Pejibaye (peach palm fruit), Mamoncillos (green coloured fruit) and Nance (orange coloured fruit). Was also lovely to see granadillas, guavas, passion fruit, red-skin mangoes, huge avocados and fresh strawberries.

I love going to markets everywhere I travel.

Mango harvest from my over 50 years old tree

Buckets full of mangoes from my family’s tree. The tree that keeps giving. Planted by my father in the early 70’s.

Tried some red bananas recently. Very nice and filling but only the skin is red :-) I also love the more common yellow skinned ones.

Sharing some photos of passion fruit I grew on my high-rise balcony. I bought the fruits from the supermarket and planted some seeds in a big pot. Watered it daily. Fertilised it with banana water and it kept giving!
