my first “experience” with wet specimens was in middle school when i found a dead honeybee. i placed it in a tiny jar with HAND SANITIZER (shown in second slide) .. and ive wanted some proper specimens since.

hopefully ive done it correctly : injecting in the belly & appendages. and then leaving them in there with some formalain .. going to change it in a few !

did it with formalain , got from a veterinary supply online :)

my girls always been on the smaller end of things but she was always a huge dog to me tbh. she’s currently at 83-85 pounds. never more then that even in the winter months where i feed her more (they’re both inside outside but prefer outside)

his head is bigger then her head……. he’s almsot taller then her standing up!!! i felt like those corsi that get to 150 were just always obese & out of standard but.. could he reach that type of weight?? she was never this big at this age.

he’s such a cutie tho , weight doesn’t matter to me too much but i was wondering is this .. normal??

one of my does had 4 babies 4 days later then her due date in the summer heat when i was fully convinced my bucks were heat sterile, now it seems they aren’t being taken care of. A few are quite ribby so i flipped her & put them on her to assist their feeding. and even then they didn’t seem to be getting full. when i flipped her back over and let her go inspect the babies herself she went in the box and peed on them. she was a fantastic mother last time but .. she just doesn’t seem to want these ones. should i give it time or shelve & start hand feeding?? and what do yall use for milk replacers??

photo is completely unrelated, but i’m a 20 y.o female who made a horrid mistake of trusting & moving in with my (soon to be ex) boyfriend. it slowly grew into something that was dangerous for me & eventually i feel it’ll move towards my animals.

i had nowhere else to go, and now i have a opportunity to leave and be safe. but.. it’s an apartment. i have 2 cane corsi , one 5 month old male one 3 year old female. i know they’re not typically meant to be apartment dogs and need lots of enrichment or somebody told me i need to rehome them.. but please. please please please let me know what i can do to make this possible. they’re my everything and have been with me through all of this. i’d rather stay in an abusive situation then lose them.

i already have to sell all my chickens and rabbits. but not my corsos. anything but them.

i could use some better blues too… hmmmm….. this isn’t including my silkies eggs (much much smaller & i hatch those out usually) as well ! this collection was from just over 2-3 days :))

it’s so cute how he looks at me with such love and admiration (he knew he was gonna get a treat too hehe)

she was a little hot but.. HALO IS SO GORGEOUS

they have some victor hi pro plus, some ground turkey + some ground beef , a little bit of olive oil, 2 eggs for cross and 3 for indi , some old fashioned oats , a little sprinkle of egg shell , indis hip & joint support chews, and some kefier.

usually we do organ meat as well but we’re out right now ♡

my older doe (bred to a younger buck , so we’ll see in about 2 more weeks when she has her next litter if she’s just having smaller litters or it was his sperm) only had 3 babies . 2 does, 1 buck. one of the does is a keeper , she’s the one in the front with the ring around her eyes.

do yall think the buck will be okay if he’s alone ? i wanna process at 14 weeks. the other doe that we’re not keeping has been claimed by someone.

also, i do leave it alone. i remove it maybe once every few months, if left alone for awhile it becomes super hard. never returns back to normal.

we feed victor hi pro plus , one 3 yr old female (85lb) & one 5 month old boy (53 pounds , massive pup with an INSATIABLE hunger, still lanky so we’re not necessarily over feeding him he’s just gonna be big)

one of my few hatchery quality silkies, rabies. he’s named that because he’s always looked quite disheveled. today he had his first crow! baby needs a cough drop or something

i want it to be atleast 60 gal, no rims, and longer instead of taller since i know they’re not the best swimmers esp ranchu, i mainly want ranchu but im not opposed to getting another type of fancy.

i’m not a owner yet because i know it’s important to have all of the tank set up first & cycled. i checked craigslist & i don’t like any of the ones on there i want to buy new! whatever the cost is. i just can’t seem to find any websites for the specific configuration (long not tall but not super long)

and if someone can give me some resources on having a carpeting plant too, i know the goldfish will likely eat it but it’s something im wanting to get into. i think it’s really special & hobby worthy. i love water puppies!

i breed rex rabbits & unfortunately we had a thunderstorm & one of my does had all of her babies about a half week early. all passed but i preserved these 2 so they can always cuddle eachother 🥹
