My ex came back after 3 months of no contact, only to leave again. Is this a cycle or is he really done?

My ex and I were on and off for almost a year, and I’m struggling to figure out whether this breakup is genuinely final or just another part of a cycle. Earlier this year, we ended things because he said he didn’t want a relationship and couldn’t give me what I wanted. We went completely no contact for about three months. Eventually, he came back, apologized for how he treated me, told me he missed me, and wanted to see me again. Things seemed different this time, and I genuinely thought we were moving toward something more serious. However, about two weeks after reconnecting in person, he suddenly ended things again. This time, he was extremely cold and told me he never had romantic feelings for me, that we were incompatible, and that he didn’t want to see or speak to me again. He also admitted that he’d treated me horribly.

When I asked whether there could ever be another chance in the future, he initially said potentially, but then took it back.
It’s been almost a month since the breakup, and we haven’t had a real conversation since. I’m respecting his decision and not planning to reach out. I know this dynamic isn’t healthy, and I’m trying to move forward regardless. I’m just having a hard time seeing the situation objectively because I’m emotionally involved.

Does this sound like a pattern where someone is likely to come back again, or does the way he ended things this time suggest he’s genuinely done? Has anyone experienced something similar where an ex was adamant it was over but eventually returned?

Persistent breakthrough bleeding on Slynd after restarting… starting to feel run down.

I’m getting really discouraged and wondering if anyone has been through something similar.
I was on Slynd continuously for about 4 months and it worked great for me with essentially no bleeding. Then I made the stupid decision to take about a 1 month “break” from it. During that break I started bleeding, so I restarted Slynd the next day.
Since restarting, I’ve had weeks of persistent bleeding. It started out dark brown for a while, but now it’s become very bright red and has been getting a little heavier again. I’m honestly starting to feel really run down after bleeding for so long.
One thing I’m wondering is whether this is happening because, when I first started Slynd months ago, I switched directly from Aurovela, so I probably already had a more stable uterine lining from being on a combined pill. This time I restarted Slynd after being completely off hormones for a month, so I’m wondering if that changes how well Slynd works or how long it takes for my body to adjust.
I have a gynecology appointment tomorrow, but I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something similar. Did your bleeding eventually stop while staying on Slynd, or did you end up needing to switch pills or add estrogen temporarily?

Supplemental Estrogen to Stop Bleeding?

I was on Slynd continuously from March until about a month ago and never got a period while taking it. I stopped it for around a month, but I never had any withdrawal bleeding. Then about a month later I started what felt like a real period (cramps, heavier bleeding, etc.), so I restarted Slynd that day.
It’s now been over 2 weeks since restarting, and I’m still bleeding every day. It’s mostly dark brown/dark red, but it’s pretty persistent and doesn’t seem to be getting any lighter or close to stopping.
I have an appointment with my prescriber soon, and I’m planning to ask about taking supplemental estrogen since I’ve heard it’s sometimes prescribed to help stop persistent breakthrough bleeding.
Has anyone also been prescribed estrogen while on the pill for this? Did it help? Or is there anything else that worked for you? I’m getting pretty frustrated at this point so any thoughts or opinions would be amazing! :)

What does someone mean when they call a relationship “superficial”?

A guy I was seeing for over six months said something during our final conversation that I’ve thought about ever since.
We weren’t officially boyfriend and girlfriend, but we weren't seeing other people, talked everyday, spent a lot of time together, exchanged gifts, were intimate, and there were definitely feelings involved. When we were ending things, he said something along the lines of, “We need to stop having this superficial relationship.”
I’m trying to understand what he meant by the word superficial in this context.
Do you think he meant that we were acting like we were in a relationship without actually being committed, so it was kind of an in-between situation? Or do you think he meant that he viewed what we had as very casual and surface-level, without much real emotional depth?
I know no one can know for sure. I’m just curious how you would interpret someone using the word “superficial” in this situation.

No longer logs you out of the device you’re using after changing password?

I just changed my Instagram password and selected the “log out of all other devices” option when the pop-up appeared.

In the past, whenever I changed my password, Instagram would always log me out of the device I was using too, so I’d have to sign back in. This time, it kept me logged into my current phone and only logged out the other devices.

Should I be concerned that maybe the password change didn’t fully go through, or is this just how Instagram works now? Has anyone else noticed that it no longer logs you out of the device you’re using after changing your password?

Just wanted to check in to make sure this sounds normal lol

My loneliness is making this breakup impossible to get over

I could really use some honest advice from people who have gotten through a breakup when they were extremely isolated.

A few months ago, I (20F) went through a breakup with someone who became a huge part of my life. The relationship wasn't very long, but the problem is that I don't really have much of a support system outside of him. I don't have a close family, I struggle a lot to make friends, I don't have a social life, and I spend most of my time alone. Looking back, I think I put way too much of my emotional world into one person. He was the person I talked to, thought about, looked forward to seeing, and shared things with. Now that he's gone, I feel like there's just this huge empty space in my life, and it is so hard to be alone again.

His life is also very different from mine. He (20M) has a close family, a large friend group, and is always surrounded by people and doing things. Meanwhile, I spend most of my time alone. We've been in no contact for about two months now, and honestly, I don't think he thinks about me at all anymore. I know he's busy living his life, while I still find myself thinking about him every day, reading old conversations, checking his social media, and holding onto hope that he'll come back or reach out someday. That imbalance has been really painful to accept.

Much of the advice I have found is to just focus on myself, make friends, get hobbies, etc., but when you're extremely lonely and have very little social support, that advice feels easier said than done.

Has anyone else been in a situation where a breakup felt impossible to get over because that person was basically your entire social and emotional world? What actually helped you move forward?

I really appreciate any advice at all.

Thank you so much in advance.

SO WEIRD- Ex's name at the bottom of my post??

Has anyone else had this happen?

On my TikTok account, when I tap the search bar, it keeps showing my ex-boyfriend's name as a suggested search. The weird thing is that I've never searched him on TikTok, and he doesn't even have a TikTok account.

I'm also not a celebrity or influencer where millions of people know who I dated, so it's not like his name would be some widely searched term connected to me.

I'm just confused about what would cause a random person's name to show up there. Has anyone seen something similar or know how TikTok generates those suggestions?

Instagram Recommendations Still Suspended even after I deleted flagged post?

Has anyone gone through this before?

Yesterday, Instagram flagged one photo in a carousel I posted and said my content couldn't be recommended to non-followers because that specific photo was "suggestive". It was literally just a normal bikini pic lol. The warning only showed that specific photo, so I removed that photo from the carousel.

After I removed it, the photo completely disappeared from Account Status and is no longer listed as an issue. However, my account still says "Recommendations Suspended" and "Your account can't be shown to non-followers."

When I click into the warning now, there is no content listed anymore, and the "What you can do" section is completely blank. Before I deleted it, it just showed that photo.

I already submitted a technical problem report to Instagram through the app, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Did it just take time for your account status to refresh after removing the flagged content, or was there something else you had to do?

Thank you!

Banned For Deleting And Restoring Pic Multiple Times?

I'm kind of freaking out and hoping someone has experience with this. Today, Instagram put a restriction/limitation on my account. I wasn't mass following, liking, commenting, or using any third-party apps. The only thing I can think of is that I kept deleting and restoring the same photo because I couldn't decide if I wanted it on my profile. I probably did this around 10 times or fewer over a relatively short period of time.

Now I'm getting a message in my settings that my account has been limited/restricted to people who "don't follow you". When I click "What can you do?" it doesn't even show any specific reason or information, which is making me even more anxious.

Does this sound like it's just a flag for suspicious activity, and should I expect the restriction eventually to go away on its own after a day or two?

Any experiences or opinions would be really appreciated because I've never had this happen before, and I'm worried I accidentally triggered something.
